Advice

They're not hollow, but, look like from the edge that they're made from long hollow tubes joined together if that makes sense. What I don't understand is why that terrace that has been built exactly like the others and even in full Sun the others are good. Wondering if its a duff lot but as I did it 3 years ago no guarantee left.

Lessons

This wish I had hired someone to clean the decks, half the afternoon spent getting the machine to work ended up pulling it apart cleaning and putting it back together but it works better than ever now proof is a now sore foot.

RE: What Will This Summer Bring?

Three cats, 2 male and one princess. All big hunters but they give me their presents live. I've found them on various o ccassions sat on my bed, running across the radiators, curtain rails and one time sat on the sofa and it climbed onto my shoulder. Then I spend hours getting them out the door, but they love icing sugar which seems to send them asleep so i can just put them outside.

I've had birds nesting in one of my chimneys every dam year since I've been here driven me crazy with scratching and muttering from dawn to dusk. So I've had a cowl put on but I had it done in September. Finally I have silence, they were crows. Doubly annoying as I encourage birds into the garden and they were attacking them.
