RE: YOU!!

It's not about anyone any more.

This place is almost dead.

So empty...

RE: will tourism end ,,,

The vaccination has already started in most countries, so once we get vaccinated - I suppose that that proof should be enough to travel. confused

We can apply for the vaccine online (if we want to - it's not obligatory) and I plan to, I just don't know which vaccine to chose. confused There are 5 types to chose from (you can choose just one or more options) or "any" and I still don't know which one(s) to check. blues

I should do it soon, although I will probably not get the vaccine before late spring/early summer (I'm not a priority).

RE: Any other men, or CS ladies who like women,.....

I don't know about women, but I talked to several Englishmen on this site who lived on Malta (they relocated from England). One of them told me it's rather difficult to have a business there - a lot of corruption, criminal, bad laws and not too many women of Europen background around his age to meet and date. It seems that there are a lot of foreigners there from various countries and cultures.

RE: social distancing

@Nice2meetyoutoo

My profile photo is playing with Snapchat, what I've already wrote on your blog once. dunno

It seems that there are too many people here who either have memory problems or have a constant need for nagging and whining. It probably comes with age... dunno

RE: social distancing

@Nice2meetyoutoo

Maybe they just pretend to be lonely, while they are actually party animals in the real life! buddies dance

RE: social distancing

Take an umbrella with you all the time and use it as a shield and possible weapon.

RE: 2022 and Google

I also started rewatching "Upload" yesterday. laugh

It's a great series and season 2 will be filmed, too. cheering

"Black Mirror" is a more serious series, but a very good one (especially some episodes).

I watched "Tenet" yesterday. I like Nolan, but - Goodness! - my head is still spinning! shock shock shock

I have to watch it again! .laugh

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

True, we said only nice things about them. Our conscience is clear and we can go to sleep. laugh

Jim, thanks for this thread. cheers

I almost couldn't remember when was the last time I laughed and had fun on CS. wine

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

Maybe I get LaFonda's too, if she doesn't want him. laugh

At least those two are decently dressed. laugh

This is so mean of us, isn't it? uh oh

These people don't even write on Blogs and we talk about them behind their backs. hole

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

Melody, thank you, but he's too far away, too young and I'm not looking at the moment. laugh

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

Jim scold

I'm just praising your taste. smile

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

Melody1671, your match might not be your type, but objectively, he's a handsome man. And LaFonda's match, too. smile

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

Jim, it would be fun if men joined. I'm curious to see what kind of women you would choose for them. laugh

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

I must admit that (apart from the unfortunate choice of the clothes of my match laugh ) Jim did find us handsome men. thumbs up

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

Have you noticed that only women ask for Jim's advice? No men at all! wow

Are men too shy to join the matchmaking agency? Or - maybe - they aren't interested in love as much as women? confused

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

@JimNastics

PUMA is some miclee's joke. Because I change profiles too often he decided to call me by that name (it's short for something - I forgot what). laugh

RE: 2022 and Google

If you want a more serious series about the misuse of technology, I recommend "Black Mirror":

RE: 2022 and Google

@Lukeon

It's a funny series, but there's a lot about possible future misuse of technology.

RE: Creating your own microblogging social network site...

Even if such a person makes their own site, if they are "persona non grata" in the society - that site will be taken down in the matter of seconds or blocked if opened in another country. Then again - if you are not welcome in your country, for example, and removed from all social media - you can still use the sites and social media belonging to other countries that don't have nothing to do with your laws, rules and affairs.

So, if Chatillion becomes unwelcome in the USA, for example, and banned from all social media, he can still write on... Vietnamese forums, blogs and sites (for example) - unless the police takes away the access to the internet from him, but that means that Chatillion is a criminal and threat to the society. laugh Then he can escape to another country and do the same - until the Interpol catches him. laugh

It can be simple, but it doesn't have to be. It all depends on how the society sees Chatillion - as some nuisance or the real threat. And it will treat him accordingly. smile

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

I'm too old for such games. laugh

RE: Creating your own microblogging social network site...

laugh

I wouldn't know for sure, but I read that it's how some streaming sites that allow people to watch TV shows and films for free manage to do so without any consequences...

RE: Creating your own microblogging social network site...

You can buy/rent servers in another country where your country has no jurisdiction and then do/write whatever you want.

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

You are right, JimNastics. blues
I'm too demanding. moping
I will stay single forever. sigh

Jac, at least you know that Inthecountryside is a real person. laugh

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

@jac_the_gripper

Who was your "chosen one"? laugh I can't find that comment... confused

RE: The trials and tribulations of being in a lockdown in the UK.

It's very nice when you have the opportunity to live in different cultures. That was always my dream - spending half a year in Japan and half a year here. But, since it will never come true, I gave up on it and decided to create a new dream. smile

You are very lucky! wine

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

@cryptorchid

If you don't like the one Jim finds for you, feel free to take mine. laugh

RE: Creating your own microblogging social network site...

@Melody1671

Why not? Who knows, it might become another Facebook or Instagram. cool

RE: Jim's CS matchmaking service.

I started to regret joining Jim's CS matchmaking service. uh oh

Luckily, it was free! laugh

RE: 2022 and Google

Have you watched the TV series "Upload"?

I highly recommend. thumbs up

RE: Creating your own microblogging social network site...

I think that the biggest problem with such ideas is - attracting new people/users.

I remember when forums and Facebook groups were popular - almost everyone I met somewhere online opened their own forum or a Facebook group, but they rarely became really active. They would invite everyone they knew, advertised themselves everywhere, but people still preferred old and established places or new large ones.

There are so many platforms to choose from nowadays and people like to mingle with other people, so I think that the competition would be enormous.
