The Scots can't stand him The only connection he has with the country is that his Mother was an immigrant to the U.S from Scotland and the other half is German. He himself was born in New York.

Hi Chancer,

If he is being manipulated by the U.S then he is no autocrat. An autocrat is an absolute ruler surely. As for his millions he's quite poor in comparison to Putin's billions surely.

Wonder also if these so called fact are true anyway . Guess it depends on which side of the fence you sit as to what you actually believe as factual.

Well personally speaking looking at today's world with all it's trials and tribulations I'd much prefer a puppet regime than an autocratic one, and there seem to be quite a few of those at the moment.

Not at all. I probably don't perceive the world the same as you not having been in the Military or living in a such a diverse country.

Zelensky is probably the poor relation in comparison to Putin .

Going back in history ,whether one agrees with Carl Von Clausewitz’s supposition that the centre of gravity of any alliance is “unity formed by common interests” or not, no one can deny that if the members are of one mind, an alliance exists and in some cases is totally necessary.

Recovering slowly thanks. Still under medical treatment and having to pursue a personal injury claim from a Company who have ignored the issue of responsibility and also is owned by a Billionaire.

Trouble is with countries the inhabitants as such cannot make choices as to whom they want to befriend it's all down to Government. Watching Wimbledon over the past 2 weeks and seeing the crowds divided was an eye opener in itself though personally I'm glad the Spaniard beat Djokovic

Nobody forces any country to join N.A.T.O but many have especially of late .

I think it's left him with a low opinion of women sadly which is a shame as he's quite a nice guy . I did challenge him about his time away from home so much but seems he thought making money was more important than family life and I'm the complete opposite.

Here's a truth you would not believe and actually it did happen to a guy called Tony

He worked away making money and provided his wife and son with a luxury lifestyle wanting for nothing. One day on his way home he picked up a taxi to return home and the driver asked him if he was going up to "give her one"

It turns out that his wife was making herself available to the local taxi drivers. Needless to say he caught her in the act . They were both lucky to survive but it left it's mark on him sadly.

Due to comments back and forth on here I have been trying to keep a low profile,plus a nasty accident to myself unfortunately.

O.M.G. Yes I am. Believe it or not I have just had an accident and hit my head rather badly with a damaged shoulder also ,so that's my excuse.

All joking aside both these men deserve tremendous credit for trying to change society's ideology on equality.

Nelson Mandela was arrested in 1956 on treason charges against the then Government. Later he was acquitted of those charges. On 12 June 1964, Nelson Mandela was charged with a life sentence because he tried to sabotage South Africa's then Government

Therein lies part of the problem ,the East West divide. Some people's hatred for the West is beyond belief and why would anyone put all humans from that area in a bracket and denigrate them when basically it's their elected leaders that have the control.

Isn't it about time we ALL accepted each other, warts and all ,and got on with setting the World to rights and work towards World peace.There is so much wrong with how we accept and acknowledge others that the balance has tipped beyond recognition. Political corruption is everywhere .

People on here have been ripping into each other for years with absolutely no idea about other people's lives or circumstances yet feel they have the right to judge them.

For want of a better word Putin has ended up with egg on his face.This military operation as he called it has dragged on for almost 18 months after stating it would be over and done with in a few months and thousands of people on both sides have died and for what? So far it has been a disaster for all concerned.

Whatever happened over the weekend whether staged or otherwise it did Putin no favours Prigozhin railed against the Russian establishment and not without cause. The mighty China still supports Russia to a degree but apparently was not too happy with the turn of events at the weekend.God forbid Russia should collapse as you can bet China will be in there like a shot.

I love the way you try to predict what will happen next Grand,you should get a job as Putin's adviser. and maybe do a better job

The only person you can truly rely on is yourself.

Yes it's great when someone catches your eye and you think that life is changing and love is walking in . Sadly though relying on a website is often a recipe for disaster. How many people are totally honest about age, looks,work,family etc. Everyone is a faceless stranger until they meet and sometimes that can bring disappointment in so many unexpected ways.

We all deserve that special person and hopefully you can learn to trust again but until that time never take anything for granted and keep an open mind.

Not everyone questions why people do things that would appear insane to the average person.

Look back in history at explorers that have died, 5 expeditions to the Antarctic .The North West Passage springs to mind, The climbing of Everest which has claimed over 300 lives. Some people love a challenge .

No-one except those on the submersible knows what happened .The young lad who, as Secret pointed out,was rather scared of the project may have had a panic attack and disturbed the balance so we should at least show some respect for their demise don't you think.

Whatever the comments on here 5 people have lost their lives in a tragedy at sea. Can we not respect this and stop having an inquest as to the cause and leave that to the authorities concerned.
