Exaggerating can be both lying and not depending on the context. One can exaggerate to get a point across. One can also exaggerate to convey false information and that would be lying. For example, if I tell you that I flew out the window as soon as I heard the tune of the icecream van, I would be exaggerating but not lying. Aw! At the supermarket! That was hilarious. This Filipino girl was trying to reach a pack of cookies on the top shelve. She couldn't. She was a tiny girl. Maybe 5'0 in all including heels. Problem was that even I didn't reach! So I asked her if she wannit a wee hand and she said yes. So I lifted her up and she got her cookies.
I actually did date a few Filipino women and I enjoyed every one of them. In general, they are a lot more feminine than Maltese women. Maltese women are, well, they suffer too much of what I call 'princess syndrome' and they have a sense of superiority over men, which is bloody annoying. Alas ..
