I believe in them, but I've never thought about what his/her name is/could be. Just knowing that God provides a 'bodyguard' (or guards) for me is enough. And I'm grateful.
Hi Kal, I agree with your point of view; a good photographer would really know how to get your best angle, to make you 'photogenic'. Not sure about the one who'll marry me though...that ship has sailed.
“Reflect upon your present blessings -- of which every man has many -- not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.”
"We often block our own blessings because we don't feel inherently good enough or smart enough or pretty enough or worthy enough... You're worthy because you are born and because you are here. Your being here, your being alive makes worthiness your birthright. You alone are enough."
I'm not sure what you mean G, but even though I don't have an up-to-the-minute pic, those on my profile are just a few month old. The most recent was posted in late October. So....what you see is what you get...for now, at least.
Nice idea. Unfortunately for me, those venues aren't accessible, nor would they offer a large 'captured' audience of persons who are there for the same reason/s. Bumping into many CSers/potential CSers is really the goal.
Patty, I think I understand your point, but I also think that the speed-dating approach is different due to the setting, the type of conversations that can be had, the time in which more people could be 'met' (so you could imagine how high the testosterone may be), and the possible outcomes.
Chat, I think the topic appears 'boring' because it's mostly about stills (or videos), that seldom offer any interaction with life forms (i.e. people or animal). A movie about travelling to a planet and experiencing it first hand would, however, be sure to grab one's attention.
Perhaps Elon Musk needs to focus more on that, than on Twitter. I really thought that that program of his would have gained more ground.
If what you're saying is that instead of trying to understand what men think, one should focus on understanding how God thinks and pattern one's thinking along that line, then I take your point. That is a perspective that would have even more value for someone (in, and out, of the dating/relationship arena), as he/she tries to understand another's point of view.
Thank you for your input, Robrt, but I think you may have missed the point. The focus isn't on who or what informs my thinking, but about the possible benefits of understanding how the opposite gender perceives life and relationships. Sort of a 'look at things from the other side of the fence' approach.
I may have thought a certain away dating and relationships, that is totally different from how men may regard it, hence have some difficulty in meshing with a love-interest in that area. But, with some enlightenment (on both parts), it is possible to overcome the problem.

I've never seen anything like. Never even thought it possible...
