Free Blue Thank you both for your comment. Tell the world that praying is rife. And it is a norm for the spiritual nourishment of mankind. As are ‘Please’ and ‘Thank you’ the basis of good form in the physical too.
Many believe life is a series of coincidences within a predestined fate, or karma, or fortune or destiny. But but I think life is a series of constant choices, and praying or not praying is just one of them choices.The comments made convince me more that everybody prays....in one way or another. Praying is not necessarily 'asking'. It more 'thanking', because whatever is wrong in one's life, there are many more rights, except the fragility of man does not see it that way. Listening to an inner self is also a form of reaching beyond, to hear advice, or a different take on life. Don't we all think of a dead parent, and talk to them. Isn't that also a kind of praying. And it's not necessarily talking aloud Everyday has his / her way, and they're all ok.
IW re my friend ... it's a situation in progress, whichever way it progresses to, but am still thinking of her in my prayers.
thank you ladies for your input. i would have thought many more people would have a view on this "love is never having to say sorry" in the sense that when you truly love somebody, you do nothing that warrents an apology.
my two bits on this: 1. prepare a 'before and after' pps. this is for your benefit and assurance, but could be used possibly once off with pt.3 below. 2. consult with the person/s who bought you in' in the first place and see if you still have support from that angle. 3. amplify where company could be without your admin. input and possibly without your financial investment. organise periodical management meetings and 'show-off' your involvement in a subtle way. 4. make yourself the front(wo)man of the company with the financial institutions; in marketing and advertising; in stock and time control and signatory on cheques. 5. respect is earned not bought, so it might be a good idea to get to know some of the physical side of the business, which would keep you in the loop when technical meetings happen. 6. get them interested in what you do in your admin. work. my feeling is that they would probably lose interest in that part of the work and would rather carry on with the physical side of things. remember, dogs that bark do not (usually) bite. good luck !
if i may suggest - keep writing. you're a natural. Witty, funny and easy flowing sentences. Maybe oneday you might decide to bind them and suddenly you have a book.
