John, Life is full of ups and downs, and no one gets perfect situations everyday.. Can I tell you something, when I broke off with my guy a lil longer than a year back, (it’s a real life relationship, not an online one) I was feeling terrible and didn’t know how to focus, then I created a motto for me “If you drop yourself pick urself up”… and it worked ..
I dnt like people to cry and live in a depression .. the challenge is to fight with negative forces and come out as a winner!!
Wish you understanding about yourself first, what you want in life, and how to focus. From at point onwards, everything will be just simple to handle..

Hi Drea, honestly, I was pondering long time, after I read your blog.. I wanted to write a comment, but it was like I could not gather appropriate words and terms to address the point precisely… Though you try to generalize the point, using “we” in the last two paragraph, its obvious that this blog is more personal and showing some kinda inner struggle you are going thru right now.. may be I’m wrong.. just my observation..
Well.. all I can tell you is, what you go thru or experiencing, the ups and downs in your life, pleasant or bitter events in day today life, whatever, help you to realize that you are “human”…. Yes sometimes it’s them, and sometimes it’s us… who else it can be? :)
Most of the time, we push ourselves too much; I have realized that I can’t satisfy everyone in this world. Sometimes, not even my own self. I’m very good at being my own critic!!
Its not that we don’t know happiness is something within, but we forget.. We listen with an opened mouth when people talk about how a certain situation turned-around their whole life, and how they traveled thru that adventure, and how they arrived safely to live their life today, and we doubt and question us, whether we would do the same, most of the time, we come to a conclusion that we wouldn’t.. But you know, they too wouldn’t have liked it just like us, its pure circumstances that made them go thru all that!! Who knows, you and I would do better than some of the best adventures we have heard of, if we really really have to face something similar to that, or may be we can take up more :)
My point is, the most important thing in your (anyone’s) life is to “feel human”.. A human fail and succeed, feel happy and sad, burst out and calm-down and so on and still continue to live without giving up at any point!!!. And while living, who is open to grow and learn, And with all the knowledge, experience and vigilance, who understand that things can still go wrong at certain situations. In my opinion, this is the minimum level of enlightenment every one of us should have..
You know, when we learn more and experience more, it becomes easy and difficult at the same time.. You and I both know how happy we were when we were children. :) but aren't we enjoy life in a different way now? We got the key!! :)
Yes drea, very true, I mean I really appreciate you writing this, and your perceptions about life situations.. I know sometimes its impossible to express the exact meaning our head (heart) with words, how much ever we try to arrange it nicely, a known person will get the tone, and unknown? Well... outcome can range from making another life long friend to a spiteful enemy..
Anyways, I’m trying to master the art of communicating, and its worth learning..

Well if you communicate face to face, or one on one, things can be cleared off or can be expressed better than static ways of emails or chats or even the telephone, for that matter. Body language completes communication so without that you can’t expect perfect communication. But, how practical it is to meet a person to communicate with him or her? And can we avoid communicating with strangers in our day to day life? You know the answers. And we always have to take a risk, how much ever we try to be careful, there can be lapses.. which are inevitable..
You wrote about something really which is very pertinent to me right now..Misunderstood communication made my life miserable here on CS, lately. I communicated with a mature gentlemen who wrote personal comments for my blogs.. and since I understood he needs a friend and thought of uplifting his soul sent one email, which later became two or three from my side… and I think I started getting 5-8 e-mails, I mean essay ones, within a time of 20 minutes or may be less than that how I can be a goddess for him and all sort of nonsense that I cant understand which cant come from a sane man….It was driving me crazy to receive almost 10 emails every hour… Perfect example for communication failure!!!!

May be he is feeling a bit shocked to see the Asian Writing in English? I really dunno, and he said he needs to make it more clearer, is he finding it difficult to express precisely in his own language? or is he not clear what what he is talking about!!! dont know. :(
As an Asian, A Sri Lankan, who speaks and write the very rare language “Sinhalese” let me put my bit here..We all can write well in our own languages, and we are proud to talk in our mother-tongues, and we even have the advantage of exchanging few secretes, a hint, a greeting, without anyone of you, English only nations, noticing, anytime we want to, coz though we can understand what you talk Mark, you cant get exactly what we say, if we use our mother-tongue!!! Well that’s about using any foreign language…
There are many mutts (anyone who acts immature, given the situation) and many intelligent men/women in any country and any race!! It’s a long story to explain how a man become or is categorized as, a mutt or an intellect and Mark, my friend, be careful when you express, coz that can be one criteria, which people may use to categorize you into the "not more desirable kind" out of the two broad categories above.. And I wish you can at least understand what’s the “not more desirable” category…
