Supposed to be plenty of fish there, but I found the pond to be severely understocked.
I also could not find any way to actually delete my profile from that pond; I finally gave up and just blanked everything out and never went back... catching is fun, fishing forever not so much though.
There's nothing wrong with having high standards... I often wish women actually did have higher standards! It seems like men who have criminal records and live in rental trailer houses with their mother's never fail to have a girlfriend on their arm.
Something just plain wrong about that.
I'm all for women's right to choose, I just wish they'd choose better. There'in lies the problem, IMHO.
This is pretty universal, actually. You don't have to read very far into the Forum Threads to find men from all over complaing about the lack of response from women in their areas.
I have a theory though... it goes like this: women go online looking to talk with men from exotic far away places only, men they won't have to worry about meeting for dinner and a movie anytime in the near future if at all. We're kinda like interactive romance novels or something I guess.
In other words, I think the women like the safety of not having any chance of meeting the guys they actually talk to online... how else can so many men of every size shape educational background and socal status from all over the world be having the same experiences trying to talk with women near them on CS and other such sites?
Women will of course immediately deny this theory... but they have no better explanations regarding what we guys are experiencing.
Note: I did NOT come up with this theory overnight mind you! It's been far too many years in the making, trying to explain my empty Inbox month after month, year after year!
Funny that, I just get condemned on here for "what I want" (or, what I look for in a woman). And I haven't had a romantic date in a little over 5 years now and have been on CS for a little over 2 years now. I realized a few months ago that CS is just another dead end for me... I just don't have any better ideas anymore.
I guess your mileage must vary depending on your gender and where you are located and what you look for in a decent date.
Single mom's are often found complaining on here that single men "run" when they hear she has kids... since you too have children from a previous relationship, I'd think you'd have no problems getting to know all the single mom's that are on CS?
Anyhows, don't feel too alone in this... I'm a college degreed pretty good guy (who rescues and raises orphaned baby wildlife each spring; how bad can I be?), NO children from previous relationships, own my home on a few acres, 2 vehicles and a boat, hottub/spa that seats 5 on the backporch (very relaxing on a cold winter night!), non-smoker not into drinking or gambling, fit, employed, and haven't had a date in over 5 years now.
Last 2 years I've been on CS and determined it's a dead end as far as finding women to date goes.
I've done all that I can do here. I ran out of good ideas a long time ago.
It sounds like he was trying to compliment or flatter you... he wasn't very good at it, though.
Honestly I don't think it matters what we guys say to you gals on here... it's a dead end. Just ask me how many dinner and movie dates I've had in the last 5 or so years.
No... I'd like to fix breakfast for 2 though. I don't even bother fixing breakfast for just me anymore, and I used to make really good Belgium Waffles.
The Constitution grants Congress the power to make law pertaining to whatever needs to be done to run this country. As long as those laws don't conflict with the Constitution as judged by the Supreme Court, then said laws becomes the law of the land when a bill is signed into law by the President of the United States, just like the Constitution itself governs this land.
I believe it's called the "Implied Powers" of the federal government. Congress has the right to pass laws to regulate just about anything Congress wants to nationwide.
Healthcare is seen as a national problem, not just a state problem... ergo Congress has the right to enact health care reform legislation.
I don't know if the current bills are really worth the paper they're written on or not, but it is legal and Consitutional. At least for the most part... I don't believe that part about being required to purchase health insurance or go to jail has a chance of standing against a Supreme Court challenge though but that's just my opinion.
Whatever is in the current bills before Congress, don't forget that it's not a done-deal until the 2 House's bills get "merged" into a single bill which then has to be passed by both houses of Congress yet again... I hope and expect that alot of the stupid stuff will quietely go away when the bills get merged into 1 bill. Or it could get even worse, idk.
If there's some specific parts of these bills you think is just all wrong, then write to your Congressman (if your Congressman is a Democrat... cause everybody already knows how the Repbulicans are going to vote so there's no point in preaching to the choir there) and tell them what you don't like in the current bills and why you think it's wrong. Don't just say "The Constitution doesn't give you the right to create laws" cause they're just going to laugh at you about that one!
Nope. Been on here over 2 years now. It's rare anybody from my state even views my profile. Most women that view my profile are from the other side of the planet for some reason.
Richest countries in the world? Have you seen our National Debt? We're in hock up to our eyebrows to China right now! And yet we still give away hundreds of billions of dollars a year to foreign nations in "foreign aid"... this is a real pet peeve of mine, borrowing money from China to give money to Israel, India, Pakistan and others.
And of course we hear on the news every day that we can't "afford health care reform". Good grief Charlie Brown!
Venuslight... it's a camera on a tripod on timer for the most part. It's not possible to hold a natural looking smile for more than a few seconds, before it starts to look unnatural. LOL!
I actually don't like posing for pictures either.
And I am smiling in the picture with Meeka fishing under my collar for the tag... she was tickling me. I used that pic as my primary profile pic on here for some 2 years and never met a soul (even though it's a favorite photo of mine, and pretty unique I'd think).
I'm at a total loss. I pulled some ab muscles the other night working out, so today I'm hurting pretty bad and this Fall weather we're having is actually depressing me to no end.
The hottub on the backporch is nice and hot (obviously!), so I've been soaking in it every few hours trying to relax these injured muscles... it's working, but it also reminds me how very single I am here and how lonely it is. Hottubs aren't intended for 1... this thing seats 5!
I am being me! And single males die at a younger age than married men... so there's something to be said for running low on patience here at this point.
I've been pounding my head against this brick wall all my life... I'm getting the worst headache you could ever imagine.
I'm tired of reading posts by people who've only been on CS a few weeks or a month maybe, complaining that they're not meeting enough people, when I've been on here for some 2 years without meeting a soul. There's something not right about that, ya know.
I'm tired of people telling me I should change my profile pic, blast it! I've seen so many totally aweful profile pics on here, and then there's the people that don't even have profile pics... I've put more effort into me and my profile than the vast majority of the people on here ever will already!

I agree with GypsySoul... she has the right of it.
No evidence that Iraq was supporting or exporting terrorism was ever found... the Republican administration lied to the American people! We've all buy lost the war in Afganistan as a result of invading Iraq... great move Repubs!
Texans have been wanting to secede from the Union for years now... all in all, we're pretty fed up with the whole kitt and kabootle at this point.
If you don't like the Democrats in control of Congress and the White House, then you have nobody to blame but the Republicans who've run the country into the ground while starting wars in foreign countries for most of this decade.

Signs hell! He had YouTube videos and online blogs for years detailing how very hurt and frustrated he was! Seems to me that he was crying out for help... and either nobody was listening, or nobody particulary cared.
It's sad, the women that were shot did not deserve such a fate, but this shows a major failing of our society: Too much quality time alone can be deadly.
I don't think he was out to kill any particular person, he just hurt so bad that he wanted to hurt society for turning it's back on him. Think about it, turning the lights out didn't exactly improve his aim... the darkness hid the faces of the individuals he was hurting. He didn't want to hurt individuals he wanted to hurt society before killing himself as a final act to stop his pain.
Things never should have gotten to that point.... and society's response, will most likely be to put metal detectors at the entrances to gym facilities or some such nonsense. Brilliant!

Sadly, men and women who lie about themselves appear to have better luck getting dates from online though.
Consider the guy that was (unfortunately!) date-raping women from the Match website.... he was claiming to be a Navy surgeon, an astronaut, AND a CIA operative and the women were falling all over themselves to go out with him!
You'd think that honesty would be the best policy, but it sure doesn't get you anywhere on here. I've been on Match before for over a year and never met a soul there, been on CS for nearly 2 years without meeting a soul here... maybe I need to start being dishonest too, since that seems to be what women are looking for in a man these days.
