Right now? Fall has just started here and the leaves are starting to turn different colors and falling! It's beautiful!! It's getting cooler and perfect weather for cuddling and being outdoors in front of a small fire. My favorite time of the year!! Dreaming of a picnic in the fall, I don't think I have ever had one!!

I think you have some concerns there and you should communicate them to this nice guy of yours. Most relationships are ruined because of the lack of communication. You don't feel comfortable and you should bring it up in conversation in a way that will not hurt his feelings as much as possible, but in the end, I think it's necessary. Else, he will go on thinking you two are committed to each other, when in reality, it's just a label as you wrote.

What if someone you really liked and wanted to pursue on a romantic level came along? You make time for your friends, you will make time for a real romantic interest in the same way, so why add another entry to your "to do list" by having to explain to someone else later, that you both are not really girlfriend/boyfriend material? JMHO!!

Believe me I know exactly what your writing about!! I am going through a divorce myself. I waited until 41 to get married because previously I had not found the right one. To top it all off, I fell in love with someone that did not exist as they completely misrepresented themselves in total and complete deception. Then one day, I wake up and realized, I am keeping company with a complete stranger after countless disappointments and their continued contradictory display of character.

Now at 48, although very healthy and vibrant, I wonder if I will ever meet that true love. Sure I have faith and I believe I deserve at least one good shot, but with the daily grind it sometimes get's lost. So I remind myself everyday and I run into others that confirm my way!!

I refuse to let a woman manipulate and trap me with a child. I also refuse to let her bring me down and make me miserable. Thank God I believe in Karma and have seen it's work. I have re-discovered happiness within myself and I will not let this divorce get to me in any shape or form. In time I will forgive but I will never forget. Also in time she will realize she had the world handed to her on a silver platter and she destroyed it, and that will be enough for me!!

Stay positive and have faith in love, for it has not forgotten you and in it's own time will reveal it's self to you!!

I do see your point of view, but what about flexibility? Some people may post a blog rather than start a forum for many reasons.

If a person does not have the time to reply and interact with the posters, which a forum OP should do, a blog can expresses the same question or topic without worrying about interactivity.

Blogs used as a forum can have benefits such as better comments without the "Hi, how are you username!" and endless lines of humor!! If you examine the blog comments you will notice people tend to be more serious and direct with their responses.

If communication is the key, then use every available tool in anyway possible to draw beneficial dialog and that special person.

From what you wrote, she doesn't seem crazy to me. In fact, she seems rather agile and quick to react. She also, seem like a good cook and knows how to make good use of a garden full of vegetables!

You and me both!! I just had the most vivid, sitting back watching a movie, type dream, that I have not had in a while. She's bilingual(Polish or Russian), light brown or blond hair, with a fair complexion. I meet her family. I was learning their language and even interrupted one of their family business meetings trying to talk in their language, just to see how they would react. They corrected my pronunciation in unison with a very irritated tone of voice, I smiled and let them continue uninterrupted. They seemed to tolerate me, my humor, and my presence. We, this family and I, went on a drive to dine-out at a restaurant, lead by the father. I sat next to her in the back seat and we talked as thought no one else existed around us. We lightly kissed in between words, we discussed an arm pressure point I was teaching her(a clue I will get into) and I asked her, how old she was and she told me(I'll keep this one to myself). I got a really good look at this woman. I could not write the dream down, as I woke-up late and had to rush to work(also very unusual). Although her face is now fuzzy, I will not forget the eyes!! There are more details to this dream, but I just wanted to give you a quick summary. I hope it's precognitive too!!!
