I think sometimes we think to idealistic and just need to come back down to earth and reality. We need to see the perfections within the imperfections.
Try thinking in reverse. It takes allot of practice and will take some time, but if you give it a chance..it will yield results.
Try thinking this way;
You are beautiful(we all are in our own way) and you have allot to offer(we all do). You are not alone and have companionship, someone who is honest with a good heart and doesn't play games.
Feel it as it were really true, think it, bath your mind in it. Keep smiling and just be yourself and see what happens.

I think everyone trying to connect with someone on the NET should realize that as in this story, that love can overcome age differences, so can color, race, religion and distance be overcome by communicating on the WWW. If you stay positive and have faith, the entire world is open to you there is allways someone for you waiting in a chat room, email account, or reading something on a web page. "that which you seek, is seeking you."
"If you love something set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was."
Let her go, go about your life and think positive. If it's meant to be she'll come back and give you good reasons, if not, you'll meet someone else. Most importantly, don't waist your time, emotions, and energy, it may have never meant to be.
I went through a short similar experience when I was younger and this is my point of view. Stay away from religion, it's man made and was created for control. It promotes tunnel vision and stunts your true spiritual growth. It also creates conflicts with your fellow man.
Begin the spiritual path within yourself as we are all children of our maker, we are all connected no matter how damaged the cord. You will start to really see and understand Christ's true message and your maker will teach you through dreams and experiences.
You will no longer judge anyone as they are also an expression of the creator. Everything that exists is an expression of the creator for nothing exists without him. We are all living and learning and we choose our paths as we do our education. There is a reason for everything. Enjoy your life and do everything in moderation and do the things that you feel are within your best interest. If you make a mistake, learn from it. Advise others but let them choose their own path and let them learn without judgment. As you grow you will know what is good for you and what is not and you will not confuse them with what is good or not for others. You will find that you will live more harmoniously with your creator and fellow man.
