What's the big deal?
To all those who say "You deserve better" - You must realize they are here looking for someone else for a reason...so maybe take their advice with a "grain of salt"
You know - out of all my friends and family - I think the happiest relationship i have witnessed was where the guy and gal both had their own homes, hence never lived together, never got married, never had kids, and just got together when the need or want was there....
They were both in their 40's when they met...they met at a Saturday morning yard sale -
Being Cynical and sarcastic - the whole description sounds like it is plagiarized from some "ideal dating ad" , "ideal relationship book" or some other self-help book of how 2 people who love each other should be...
That said - you do sound like the perfect woman to be with.
You need to realize that your Dad lived in a world that had less than half the population we have now - just 3 Billion...now 55 years later we have over 7 Billion - marriage may be a path for you, but I would advise thinking about adopting children. Many marriages end in divorce and being a single Mom is very difficult.
I do not know about "eastern" values, but the christian values of the west have done nothing to educate people on the environmental consequences of overpopulation - and our christian and catholic "churches" still preach having as many children as "God" will give you - and ignore the consequences of poverty, stress, and strife that comes when responsible for feeding and sheltering children...
That said - spend as much time with your father as you will cherish those moments when he is no longer of this earth - Peace

If 2 people love each other they should be together - for how long no one can say - life is never static - it is always changing - enjoy all the love you can while you can -
