"This is, and will most often be seen within specific philosophically based religions that teach the person to negate One’s self, that some external source may be acknowledged, worshipped, anthropomorhpicated, deified and/or praised"!
That to me that part of your expressed thought process is completely ludicrous. Its my understanding the purpose of investigating the true nature of self is to determine in what way we actually do or do-not exist.
To believe that the "I" exists from its own side is to my mind merely another delusion. It is the process that causes us to hold solid what is not solid. The delusion that causes us to harshly judge others, and indeed the root-cause of our sufferings. Contemplation on Emptiness leads us to better more healthy understanding of our true nature. (moving energy) To propose studying Emptiness is a prelude to worship other beings, or gods, is a ludicrous notion.
Before the Communist and Christians enforced their rubbish on the Vietnamese people, Vietnam had been for thousands of years one worlds greatest seats of Mahayana teaching. I fail to see what it is you think your now celebrating.
no body in there right mind would desire to go to heaven, and we are already in hell. Not even slightest chance of thee being a one god creator, just pure nonsense put out my complete idiots trying to reinforce there own delusions. Try thinking for your self
Oh someone really creative hopefully willing to chop the fire wood, dig the garden, mow the lawns, clean the house, cook and wash the dishes, and the wash the car, keep me warm, I'm sure I'm just the guy your looking for...
Try to motivate yourself and help others rather than worrying about your self. While thinking to benefit other people in your life, no time to dream sad thoughts
i really should add, if your actually looking for happiness, direct your mind towards benefiting others. While your doing that you wont be unhappy, for as long as your mind is focused on bringing others happiness you will enjoy happiness
You could study the true nature of human rebirth. Or open your eyes to the suffering of the homeless people living and dying on the streets of India. which is what the Buddha did, left his family upon viewing a sick person and went and meditated on the true nature of human and sentient experience
Probably not, holding an expectation about tomorrows instead of just being or enjoying the here and now causes stress. Whoopy only relieve for the rather short time you enjoy are enjoying the whoopy...You could try stilling your mind with meditation instead, then the whoopy would probably be more enjoyable anyway
Your doing all right, though i think Blog is intended for story rather better probably to have posted in a Forum Take your time you'll soon get the hang this site, most reg users would help if you ask
