I fail to see the logic in posting a blog like this. WHO are you threatening with this action? Guys who have seen your profile but refuse to contact you unless its an IM? Most decent guys would talk with you by email, at least at first. I have received several emails since I've been here and never had an issue about whether it was IM or not. I am sure most others would say the same.

Let's see, you work nights and the weekends, so you have to get your sleep during the day, except for a special morning mate (I mean, date)... keeping in mind that proper rest is necessary for you to function. Verrrrrrrrry funny....I thought you weren't serious until I read your profile...and now I am just left with a warm feeling in my heart for the dedication of the U.S. Postal Service.

(Melodyyy....great pointers on adding the hair combing and tooth brushing! I think those are in the morning as well, furthering limiting the special moment to be shared...)

What was the point of posting in Spanish? Your profile says you are very polite, but it isn't polite to speak in Spanish on a public forum where a large percentage of your audience won't understand the discussion...

I'm not sure, but you are hoping someone will want to meet you without a picture? That's a blind date, and most people are wary (with good reason) of that...

I don't have a pic up as I am here just for forums and friends, and don't expect anything else. Why not give it a real chance if you want to meet someone, instead of hoping something will happen the odds are against? Good luck to you!

Even though we can hug another person close to our heart, we know that we are still alone even in out utmost attempts to silence the feeling. We all ultimately walk alone in life, although we are united in many ways with our brothers and sisters, through acts of love, listening, and caring. The feeling of aloneness is a major reason why so many cry out to God, to know that Someone is there, with them in the darkness. I think you captured the feeling well.

Smitten, I agree there are women that will accept him, but he shouldn't lead with it as his primary focus. He asked what might be wrong...a couple other ladies here posted on another of his blogs the same issue. It's GREAT he loves his kids...but introduce them to the lady at the right time and place...

Yes, that is definitely what is wrong and scaring ladies away. The first thing you see is the cute little girl in the main photo, then the intro/first line of your profile mentions kids, following with the grand finale of how she must like kids and be ready to have a family. You need a baby mama...or so she will think.

I am very sorry you were dumped and are hurting right now. But why give any recognition to those who "play" another person? They only serve to add to the distrust and and distancing of humanity. Love has been compared to being hit with Cupid's arrow. People look for love, but can't find it because it isn't found that way. Love just happens. It helps it along if you are in the right place at the right time, but even then it's beyond your control.

People "fall in love" because of an interplay of physical and emotional desires that are never the same from one person to another. We can't make others fall in love with us, and we can't make ourselves fall in love with others. That's why all the effort is futile. The best way to find love is to be ready for love, because it comes unannounced and swiftly - kinda like that arrow. If you're not ready, love passes by.
