Several hundred years ago, lightening wasn't understood the way it is today. All people knew was that . . . well, for some strange reason, huge bolts of powerful fire would blast down from the sky, randomly, for no apparent reason, and absolutely incinerate whatever random thing it hit.
Kind of like the way "love" is often seen nowadays: it's very powerful, it's completely random and unpredictable, it's mysterious, and when it "strikes" - more often than not - it does a lot of damage.
i have read also an article (that was last year) about the mass killing of dolphins/whales in Denmark..in the pictures the people who did the killings were happy and if i remember they are doing it as part of their traditions..i don't know if the pictures shown then were true but my heart was saddened..its cruelty!
Dolphins are beautiful creatures..they help people in distress at the oceans..I think we should act now before its too late..

hello moon! want to tell you that it does not only happen to your own country..but ours also. The same problem here but we can do nothing about these people they know what they are doing and they have reasons for it.
How can these girls be victims if that is what they want in the first place? They have free wills..they can choose who they want..
i think you should not fret over this issue..it will only create wrinkles on your face..
This reality does not happen only to our country but worldwide..sadly most often on developing countries..Sometimes I feel ashamed seeing young girls from here with their old rich husbands but i cannot judge them on what i just see..There are a lot of reasons to it..some do it for financial security (I agree with Myue89)..take the Indecent Proposal movie..its an offer one can't refuse when in NEED, some for emotional security, some for a VISA as they perceive its always greener on the other side of the fence(not knowing that in the middle its also barren) , for some maybe TRUE LOVE.. I knew a few foreigners who are living here and abroad that are happy and satisfied with their young wife so money is not actually the issue. There are still good women who will not take advantage of the oldies!
I am not against this issue only that it sometimes create a bad image for us Filipinos
However I want to say this to those old men out there who wanted to marry a young pretty lass from Asia maybe you should think twice before doing so…they maybe tempting but before diving in get to know them & always know their motives..
