RE: Feelings

Then may be you could not be human.

RE: to every one!

Hello Andrea!

A happy new year to you too. hug

RE: Be true to yourself

Most of the precious things are not material. Happiness, Peace of mind, contentment, Love. All are found within. And only the blessed ones find it in time. Yet we keep finding it through material stuff and end up unhappy. doh

RE: More leaps of faith

What I have learnt is that a NEW YEAR is just a frame of mind. In fact, every new minute and every new day is much more important and must be set in the right direction.

I have learnt that what I do "NOW" is more important for me than what I would do in the next year. I have learnt that whatever I plan or wish I must think of it and start doing it in the present. The new year is going to be the product of what I have done now. I have learnt that what I did in the past has resulted in what I am at present. And I am happy I did good things mostly. And sincerely regret the not-so-good ones.

cheers

RE: All That She Wants....!!!!

Thanks Makis. Yes that's the video. Amazing song. No?

RE: Men and generalisations

Actually, I am quite happy when women generalise men. As it gives me a clear sight of whom to keep away from, you know what I mean? professor

RE: First ever blog post!

Nice! perhaps you could share the plot too cheers

RE: All That She Wants....!!!!

Hi Makis,

Good one. Used to listen to it a lot years ago.

Can you find "Ain't No Sunshine" from Bill Withers?

cheers

RE: pepl 4m isd pindi chck out

I suspect you have a stuttering problem. Didn't know it affects the writing too! doh

RE: How do you move on from that crazy one.

It seems the more you try and explain how it would not work, the more stubborn and persistent he gets. So my suggestion would be that you stop communicating. That's all. Silence works wonders at times.

RE: I finally made up my mind

Captain Tom,

I'm familiar with it. THE SECRET. And yes, the "Law of Attraction". Power of thought is everything that moves the world I agree.

RE: I finally made up my mind

my failures have taught me how not to fail again. Also, how I should have learnt from other's failures too. Starting over again and again is the real game. Successes and failures are just milestones of the journey. cheers

RE: DEDICATED TO THE DREAMERS...

RE: Drone attack

Even if we take your word about the number of casualties, which is debatable, the point remains:

In a war between smaller and bigger emenies, innocent human lives were lost. Should it be called "colatteral damage" and one should get away with it?

If getting rid of Saddam was the idea, I am sure this could have been done in a much more effective way, without the loss of human lives and waste of tapayer's money, given the unlimited resources USA and Nato possesses, you know what i mean?

RE: Drone attack

And this is what Paul Craig Roberts has to say on the subject. What do you think?

Paul Craig Roberts was an editor of the Wall Street Journal and an Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury during the Regon Regime.

RE: Drone attack

Perhaps you did not read the whole article.

NO armed drones were provided. US refused it flatly for reasons unknown. The offer above was for The Unarmed Shadow drones, which are smaller than armed Predator drones that CIA uses for drone attacks. What a joke!

The same article further says "American officials have rejected giving Pakistan armed drones. The Shadow surveillance drone appears to be a compromise aimed at enticing Pakistan further into the war and helping the country’s political leadership explain the drone strikes to a deeply suspicious and anti-American public".

over 90% civilian killings are unacceptable. And to add fuel to the fire, they won't give us the armed drones, but would keep killing innocent civilians. WOW!

Why are they not conducting at least 5 times more drone attacks in Afghanistan which is the real battle ground?

This is the height of hypocrisy for Christ sake!

RE: Drone attack

psychological I meant laugh

RE: Drone attack

U meant PHYCHOLOGICAL impact?
confused

The preseident is more worried about his money in swiss bank accounts that the Supreme Court is probing. doh

RE: Drone attack

I have heard a gentleman has filed a lawsuit, claiming $500 Million against the US authorities who launched a drone attack and killed his family while destroying his house.

May be this way some common sense would prevail.

RE: Pakistani Politation

@ session

The irony is this. The most corrupt one in history is the president. The most regarded, the cricketer, is sitting out. what a joke.

RE: Pakistani Politation

99% are corrupt to the core! doh

RE: imran khan

Actually, to set the records straight, It was Imran Khan who raised the issue to ICC to define BALL Tempering. Everyone including Ian Botham did that. Perhaps I should remind you how Ian Botham and Alan Lamb lost against Imran in a sue, right in England.

You still did not mention when and where did he temper the ball and was booked? Perhaps you could stick to the topic and enkighten us with your great knowledge. At least present some facts.

Your opinion doesn't matter if based on your sheer disliking for him for some other subjective reasons.

By the way did you ever win the worldcup? he did.

RE: imran khan

precisely how?

RE: imran khan

Cricketer-turned-politician innocent

RE: imran khan
