I have to agree with you there about a cash driven world. If I were a billionaire, I would do my best to help the needy.. and I'd give it all if I could to bring back friends I lost to the depressions of poverty.. I'd give it all to help people, animals and the earth itself.
unfortunately, just in my opinion, there has not been a really great candidate for President for a long time. But, that's just my opinion.
Now, back to the rich people... lol. Rich people and not so rich.. they are all the same. There are good and bad ones in both groups. Smart ones and not so smart in both groups.. but then again, everyone is smart in something. Everyone has their expertise in something that others may not.
Just saying. By the way, I don't care to get into politics, I was just joking.. but I will say.. I vote independent.. sometimes for Rep and sometimes for Dem or both.. or mixed. Whatever and whomever I feel is doing the better for all the people, rich or poor.
Johnny, but some rich people inherit their money or their parents give it to them.
And lots of rich people do not actually handle their money, they have financial agents who do that for them.
I know many rich people, and let me tell you, many, very many are not much smarter than someone who works at a gas station. Not that gas station people are not smart. Just saying.
Some rich people got there by simply being lucky or putting in the work to get there, not necessarily smarter than others.
Just my experience with the rich people I've known and the not so rich I've known.
I remember that show. Great fun show. It had a long run on TV. There have been others since then, who have tried to emulate it, to bring it back, but it just was never the same without the main man, Allen Funt.
I think conversely that the impeccable of the imperative situation is that variables and degrees of constants and omnipresent inanimate objects may constrict the mind from perhaps insoluble fen propaganda and quantum physics of nature that we ourselves may not understand or comprehend beyond depths unknowingly to mankind.
one more thing before I go for tonight. Getting back to subject of your blog. I'm going to be moving in the near future, but not sure yet, where I'll be moving to. I have some places I like and ideas, but not completely sure yet.
I don't know this comment has to do with your blog's subject, but just thought I'd mention it.
That's great that you asked a girl out. It's nerve racking inside, but you gotta be cool on the outside (yeah right, like if I know how to be cool, lol). But anyways, that's great! I hope everything works out for you with her.
I have to get up early tomorrow too. So, right now, it's time for me to log out and get some rest. Now, where did I put that spiked prune juice at?
exactly! Important to who? Who cares who thinks I'm important or not. I have the confidence to know that I am important to myself and my world I live in. And if others can see that and sense it, then they might feel an attraction to want to talk to me or just feel that I'm okay to be around.
you know, I did a little tv show years ago. I was kind of important or famous locally, and it felt good for a while, but then later, it meant not much to me. It just became same ole, same ole. Instead, I focused on helping others, not necessarily to become important, but to become job ready to whatever they aspired to be.
Now, if they felt I was important after they moved up in the world, then I'll take that.
Anyways, you know what I mean. Life is too short for worrying about who thinks I'm important or not.
The best thing is to just help when I can, where I can and to be good to myself, those I care about and those in my lifetime.
Johnny does like me, when I'm paying for the booze and service station hamburgers.

@ Johnny,
While I was reading your blog, I was also eating some Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, then I put it aside to write my first comment. After the comment, I went and picked up my bowl of Ice Cream, only to find it melted a little, and for some reason, I don't know why, but one of the chocolate chips in the ice cream was swimming around the bowl. Hmm, strange.
I think a lot of people may misunderstand or just not know the way another person really is, until, as you say, they have heard them and met them in person. A voice adds another dimension, and in person adds the ultimate dimension.
But, as you and I and many people know, even in person, life off the internet, there are those who will still misunderstand us or just not like us for whatever reason, and then there are those who may like us more after they meet us in person, and those who may not like us and completely change direction and like us after they meet us and know us better.
I do my best to give everyone the benefit of any doubts. I like everyone, unless they give me reason not to. And even then, I wish them the best on their journey in life.
Great blog! You know, I too often, very often, wonder about these same things, myself.
This reminds me of when comedian George Carlin once asked, "Why do police cite or arrest a person for driving while legally drunk. Shouldn't they cite/arrest the person for being ILLEGALLY drunk, instead?
I have to admit. When I saw the title of your blog here, I thought it was going to be about false teeth. It said Downer.. and I thought, Uppers.. as in teeth, partials, bridges and such.
Also, talk about Toffee on socks? I once stepped on sticky chewed gum in a parking lot. When I got back to my car, I had a 10 dollar bill and a little gold ring stuck to the gum. Cool.
don't be sorry. You can have a baby too. Err, what time do you get home. I can come right over later.
You mean that lady wanted my ...? Oh no, I cannot donate that. I mean, I may be easy sometimes, but I'm not cheap. She would have to pay a good sum for that.
Just last weekend, a lady wrote to me and asked if I would give her a baby. Now, how the heck am I supposed to do that? I'm not an adoption agency or anything like that. I don't understand.
Funny videos. I liked them. I also looked at a few more they posted on youtube after looking at your first one here.
I'm thinking if I should try to get into Canada soon. You see, there's this lady on a dating site, she says she lives in Las Vegas, Canada. So, I might make plans to shack up with her there. After I send her the 1500 dollars she needs for her sick pet rock.
Just to let you know, I made changes to the "Don't Sleep" blog comedy story. I hope to repost the revised story here on CS blogs in a day or two.
All I know is I've met a few people who were very religious and they were mean. Yet, other people I know who are real religious, they don't talk much about it or preach it, they just live it. I can see by their lifestyle, that they are just really nice and good people.
Oh, one lady I knew some years back, she constantly told anyone who would listen, that she was real religious, and on an on. And that's all good and fine.. but then she always talked bad about other people.. and WHEW, she was one mean lady. Never had a good word to say about anyone. I wondered, "How could she say she's so religious, when she's always angry and mad at everyone?"
I think if people believe in one thing or another.. it will just show in the way they live their lives.

Okay, time for me to
