On a serious note, we just sometimes get too wrapped up in our daily lives that we do just forget.. Also, it could be that each of them is thinking that one of the others is in touch with you.. Also, have you been in touch with them?? Either way, do not let it get to you and just enjoy the company of your new friends in your new place..

In UK, as I'd think you will find with most, their is a connection with the region, and is then further split up with numbers, as Edinburgh is e.g. EH8 8BL.

Howeveer, I'm aware the USA tends to use long numbers only for their postal codes, si its dependant on the country itself.

Also, the same can be regarded for phone numbers, as Edinburgh is 131, Glasgow 141, etc..

I'm used to being on my own as I have no siblings, and life on the whole is quite good and I'm happy with it, but that is not to say it could not be better with another, for that is what many here hope for..

As for having my own time when I've been with someone, its never been an issue for me, for we always knew what our habits/preferences were.. and for me its not about giving them control, its more about making sure there is thoughfulness for the one you care for,,, and all the other lovey dovey stuff..

Rain, there is not enough info for me to make a judgement, but if you were a new member on this site and asking lots of questions, maybe they need time to get to know you a little better.

Also, this person may not have meant to come across as being negative, but given his experience in web development he has gone over the many pitfalls you are having and knows better ways around them.

As Diamond says, take it with a pinch of salt, but do not go requesting too much info on one forum to quickly, and you can always find another, for being the web there are millions out there Good luck in learning and stay positive!!
