If I have hurt somebody unintentionally I fill up with guilt and wish I could turn back the hands of time to make it right .. And when some one has hurt me I feel low and hated but I soon get over it and focus on the positives that lie ahead....

I believe we exsist beyond this life when we pass through the light.

sorry for your loss,,, You have posted a great tribute too your uncle... I dont believe we loose people as they are always here in our thoughts and hearts.. My mum passed away 6 years ago and I still feel her presence in my heart and see her in my thoughts....

you can do it moonlove.. focus on the positive and forget about the neagtive.. sometimes not easy to do but if you focus long enough and hard enough you will have good focus on the positive. It is, and will be the positive thinking that will help you get through it.

First you need to accept it is over.. you cant put an exact time it takes for someone to get over a breakup because it differs for each person .. you then need to move on in life and continue to live.. stop reliving what was and focus on what will be.. as they say "one step back and two steps forward"
My Interpretation of this is that for a while you think about what was but then you start to think more of what will be...

Myself I believe friends can become lovers and lovers can become friends...
for two people to be lovers they also need to be friends...
I broke up with my partner 2 years ago and we are still friends.. as you can see it is possible for two people who break up to remain as friends .... and dont be scared of moving from being friends ot being lover friends, if it is meant to be then it will be ...
The only thing that would stop friendship is if one does something unforgiveable.
for me what I want from a woman is what a woman would want from me is to have someone with a good heart, non-judgemenatal, sense of humour, careing, loyal, trustworthy, good personality, no when to be serious and when not to be serious, reliable, a one man woman.

Yes you are right the scars left behind never go, when this happens it makes it all that much harder to be able to trust anyone else, but at the same time you can not let what he did to you stop you from loving again, to shut down your feelings to much will eventually eat you up inside, when you have taken the time to get passed the worst of what happened reopen your self, but not to much at the beginning, and remember if you find that with the next one you are going to be in and out of the relationship then break away, because what happened in your last relationship can be interperated as a warning that the relationship was not meant to be.
Once someone has been unfaithful to there partner it is a very hard task for them to ever trust them again .... unfaithfulness by one causes a lot of hurt and betrayal. sometimes two people manage to patch there realationship and move on ... but this does not stop the thoughts of what happened coming back to them every so often and unfortunatly some people never get back together again...
But I do believe that when he has had time to calm down from the shock of what had happened he may decide to give your sister a second chance... but she needs to give him time and hopefully he will relise that he still loves her and will go back to her.
I hope it all works out for the better for them both and that they do get back together.
you need to get out and live your life for yourself and your children.....dont let your dad stop you....as he has said he is well able to look after himself and if that is what he thinks then let him do exactly that....

yep I agree it is the same day in and day out ..... but Like annua said i am not going to give up..... I believe one of these days the same will soon be different.....

if I were able to choose both then I would, but seeing as you have asked to pick one then i would choose love, because there will always be great feeling in my heart knowing I have shared my love, but if i choose to be loved then I am garunteed to get a broken heart.
giving love can never break my heart nor anyone elses, but to recieve love your heart is garunteed to get broken somewhere along the line, how mnay times it is broken depends on how many people refuse to give you love.
