Like the song says..."cowboys aren't easy to love and they're harder to hold; he'd rather give you a song than diamonds or gold."
But if you find your cowboy and slap a brand on him, he'll be the best friend and most faithful companion you'll ever find. He's most likely already there trying to get up the nerve to tell you how he feels.
The one thing to remember is "never give up", always face each day with this thought; With God all things are possible. What is it exactly that has you down?
A true cowboy would probably be too shy to let you know how he feels right away, however, he will let you know he's there for you. You might not see it, for a cowboy has strange standards he sets for himself. Is there someone you know who always seems to be there, opens your door for you, always tries to make you laugh or at least smile? Think about it. Your cowboy might already be there.
Kasih, I have loved and not been loved in return and it hurts, it makes you do stupid things and think stupid thoughts. My opinion is it is better to keep your eyes open for that one who maybe is loving you from afar, but too unsure/shy to let you know. To be loved is probably the greatest thing in the world;hope some day to find out.
"Time heals all wounds"..we've all heard this...haven't we?
Speaking from personal experience..some "hurts" just never go away.
I am "southern born, southern bred", therefore it was instilled in me early to be a one woman man and expect the same from the person I married.
So...when you give all you know how to give in every aspect and (God's Truth) remain faithful to that one for years only to eventually learn she's been "playing house" with another member of your immediate family and everything you've been taught and believe suddenly isn't true...How do you get over that? It's been over 30 years and it still hurts. So when you figure it out...PLEASE tell me.
RE: Amazing of God...
Well Said!!!God can and will change lives if we will only open up and allow Him to do so. God blesses us every day. Wake up people.
