Eastern vs. Western Medicine

Miss EM! beer

I was worried after your comment on CT's blog that you were leaving CS. I hope not hug

Im kind of scared to google that. laugh

Yes, Miss V I agree. Mike is very in tune with energies just doesnt know how to quantify them in his own brain.

RE: 3 Types of women

a woman can be all three, or none. It would be nice if everyone could be put in nice little categories like that, but its not reality.

Thats like saying, I could have a rich man, a good looking man, or just a good man. I think they often overlap.

Eastern vs. Western Medicine

The body has its own built in 'cleaning mechanisms' if you will. WHere were you in 5th grade science? laugh

I think cleaning the energy in our minds and bodies, and spirits, is a great way to get rid of any toxins. But, you already advised, you think you just want to jump off the hamster wheel, and find a way to lose a few pints of blood.

RE: Karma believers, please explain

Perhaps some coffee would do you justice. I still am missing how it got all big and philosophical.....why do you say everything is so complicated? I dont think I agree with that. Things are only as complicated as we make them. dunno And if you always feel trapped in a hamster wheel, I think that has more to do with your inner turmoil than it does with what society dictates. dunno

RE: Karma believers, please explain

its called a hamster wheel rolling on the floor laughing

Eastern vs. Western Medicine

well I would say to that two things....hemmorioids dont always bleed, and one of the greatest shortages in our nation is blood. WHy? Because people bleed all the time! They have to go to the hospital for something, and need a few pints of blood replaced.

RE: Karma believers, please explain

Mike, how much info is your brain holding? laugh Are you suggesting everyone run off and live with the apes? uh oh

Eastern vs. Western Medicine

Hi Em! hug

I do not know much about the herbs that can go along with treatment programs, but I definetely have an energy imbalance hehe...or at least I can feel it. I remember she told me about a year ago there was definetely blockage somewhere because when she took the needle out of my earlobe it bled a little bit, and usually doesnt, or never did before.

I will ask her about 'angelica' next weekend.

RE: Karma believers, please explain

well, like I said, you are thinking of karma in terms of 'instant' karma....karma is not always instant, or obvious. Just because someone dies a horrible death does not mean karma was not present in their lives. There are so many variables you just dont know about.

RE: Karma believers, please explain

Mike I think you are taking karma out of context here. Everyone comes to earth with a specific purpose, and if that purpose has been fulfilled, they will leave this earth. Some leave in more grotesque manner than others. sad flower to all the families

Eastern vs. Western Medicine

CT, I am not 100% sure but Id be willing to wager shell is correct. Also, I have no doubt that if you and fieldr were sent to exile on a deserted island, we know who would be eaten first and what part you would start with.

RE: more from Blogosphere

Dead, I think you are forgetting that we currently have a volunteer army. I did not serve in the war overseas, but I was on orders to. I did however deploy to a remote area in Korea, where we lived in a tent city that we built during monsoon season. I will tell you, positive thinking was about one of the few things that got me through that experience, and had I known more about it first hand, it would have made it easier.

I am not sure what you mean by the statement 'positive thinking is false and delusional'

Eastern vs. Western Medicine

mike I was generalizing but I meant eastern in the sense of from the East, and western, from the west. uh oh

Eastern vs. Western Medicine

Yes, Dead... the woman I go to is originally from China...and has been practicing for over 25 years.

Shell- I have not heard about the paralyzing thing, but I believe it......I have instant relief when she puts a needle in the spot for sinuses....you can even press that spot and use acupressure to feel it on your own. Its the meaty spot in the webbing between your thumb and forefinger...beer

RE: more from Blogosphere

Also, were you aware that many of the casualties of war are due to fratricide, and not enemies? I think the focus needs to be on proper training, and this positive thinking mess sounds like a good option also.

RE: more from Blogosphere

Dead, let me guess, you just watched the movie, 'Men who stare at goats?' laugh

Eastern vs. Western Medicine

skeptical in what manner? Well, as you know mike, before I buy into anything I do alot of research. This I have read many books and articles on. The chinese were definetely onto something, trust me. beer

RE: Really not as bad as you think..............

yes, the teddy bears indeed are nauseating, from anyone.....

teddybear teddybear teddybear barf rolling on the floor laughing handshake

RE: more from Blogosphere

Teaching soldiers how to hone their positive thinking in overseas combat zones and even non-combat zones, is a great idea. Many times soliders dont want to leave their families, jobs (if reservists) and it puts a huge strain on anyone emotionally. Half the time, the only thing that gets one through tough times, IS positive thinking.
cheers

RE: Wolves Are Among Us

ah....ok. Well a saying comes to mind here....we teach people how to treat us. So, unfortunately, many of these folks that are the victims of 'wolves' dont ever learn from Maybe I'll feel bad for them once, but after that, nope. You see, the problem is, its a certain personality of people that the 'wolves' prey on.....those that never learn to fend for themselves. handshake

RE: Wolves Are Among Us

Maybe they should change the name of this site to connecting wolves.com confused laugh

I dunno Sin, I have a feeling you've been burned one too many times in your life, and have put up a barrier by just simply thinking everyone is up to no good cheers

RE: she's back

good luck to you john....just avoid being co-dependent cheers

RE: this dont make sense

To be honest I never even knew what the heck friend requests were until like 6mos into being here. I still dont really understand the purpose. Cant they just email you without being your 'friend?' What is the point of having someone on ur friend list?

RE: Writer & Reader

haha..no, didnt mean it like that. I would use one of those if they really worked. I bet Jamil would like one too. laugh Saw it on some infomercial...just a headset, and you talk, and it writes what you say. But I heard that they mistype words alot, thats what I thought you meant. Gnite wave

RE: "Any successful matches?"

Emily, you are funny....also, did you notice the dog picture? It seems dogs are ok, but bunnies are a no no laugh

RE: Writer & Reader

Oh, you are using a speech to text device? laugh So you just talk and it writes what you say? Is that the thing from the infomercial? laugh

RE: "We are all wanderers..."

Yes, you hit the nail on the head exactly, asubtlewoman thumbs up

RE: Writer & Reader

Do you have microsoft word? Just paste it in there and spell check

RE: Writer & Reader

Mike not sure what spell checker you are using, but I believe its 'qualities' oh...and also, refured, is 'referred' laugh professor

RE: Excerpts from Blogosphere, I

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

U crack me up Mike. Hopefully you were aware that I was in agreement with you. Exactly why I said the age of 13-16. I think it takes a good role model to steer people in the right direction. Maybe you have seen a few of those rogue squirrels in your neighborhood, who just do whatever the hell they want, when they want. Their parents probably took the stash of acorns and went on a binge.
