This may not work for you but I have noticed a difference in myself since joining CS and being involved in the forums and blogs

I have gone from being shy and reserved to being somewhat of a chatterbox

In real life there may be that person to drag you from your shell -- on-line you have to sell yourself

And do not let some silly fear of sounding foolish hold you back.

Hi Bubbly.

It is simple really -- if they get abusive, block them, then forget about them.

If your problem is isolated to a certain group, you can filter them out.

You will learn as you go along. And you will also learn to get tough -- while remaining polite.

It might help too if you hide that income of yours. That, besides your looks, might make rejection so hard.

I am still trying to work out Rubik's cube -- this stuff goes right over my head.

The lady would be very pleased to know she has a big fan out there. Send her an email and hint to her that your daughter needs tuition.

Seeing the Grand Canyon has always been on my Things to do before I die list. I would like to walk away with some memories.

I guess I've really only thought of ways not to die -- and being murdered is #1.

Yet I fully support euthanasia. I would like to think that when my used-by date has arrived I can go on my terms and painlessly.

But first I have a canyon to visit.

Yes -- it is a pleasant change when the blogger is not contemplating jumping off a cliff.

I have a 12 year old daughter who I try to convince to write to her friends instead of emailing.

This is exactly why.

What is happening here is against the rules for posting blogs.

Op -- you are supposed to give an opinion or a thought on the topic in question -- others then comment on them.

So far it seems the reverse.

If you want discussion on the topic you should create a thread in the forums.

If you are looking to stir things up I am sure there will be plenty to accommodate you.

Yes, we are a mix of all sorts here.

It has been a learning experience for me in the short time I have been here.

Different races, cultures, religious beliefs and opinions all thrown into the one pot called CS.

I like to think that we can all learn from each other. And that can only benefit everyone.

As I do not live in your country I am ignorant of your laws. From reading your blog I take it that anyone can be stopped and asked for ID?

We had a similar problem in Australia years ago with illegal immigrants obtaining work. The Government introduced a tax file numbering system. Off course there will always be ways around it but it has stemmed the tide somewhat.

And the Government is getting what they really want -- income tax.

Im going to take my dog for a walk now and there is no need to take my ID. Its already in a microchip in the dogs neck.

Worrying.
