The sun can burn, but it more often brings life and vitality. Without it nothing grows. The moon is ever changing and powerful. It reflects the glory of the sun and enfolds the earth in its radiant energy. The two together, in harmony, bring the beauty of this world into its fullness and most glorious expression.
Dear Moonlove, you are a beautiful a precious individual. For depressed feelings it is helpful to work on appreciating yourself just as you are. Realize that you are a gift to Life and to us. Do as much as you can to treat yourself well. You deserve it! Also, walk out your door and look for some opportunity to serve. Just a few random acts of kindness will help you feel better. JMO
Bravo, Kasih! Listen to your gut. If it turns out that your instincts are wrong, he will forgive you. How could he not? You are an amazing woman. I think I would lay low and watch for awhile, see if anything surfaces that would explain the feelings that you are having. Honoring oneself is the only really sane thing to do.
I know, I know, Mr. Alfi. I have been commenting on his blogs enough to know that there is nothing that will convince him that he is not God's right hand man and that we are not all evil and going to Hell.
I so like to voice my opinions about it though. That would be my ego...
I take issue with the word/idea of tolerance. I know that humans are not evolved enough to take responsibility for their actions, so it may be necessary to have tolerance at this point in time.
It seems to me that everyone born into this human experiment comes in for his or her own unique experience. No one is supposed to have the same life as anyone else. Yet, the push is always to create uniformity, sameness.
To me, tolerance implies that what I think you do is not acceptable but I will allow you to do it or say it or think it anyway.
It would be more wise to realize that each person has their own path and have no opinion of it one way or the other. Neutrality is a better word for me.
Drea, I watched Dear John last night too!! I had a different opinion of it though. The only good scene was the one where he was reading that letter to his dad. Wish they would have ended the movie there. I may be a cornball but that one was even too much for me!
Poor Keanu. He didn't do a bad job in that weird Constantine movie did he? Othewise, yeah, other actors carry him. I like Speed, so sad Dennis Hopper won't be entertaining us anymore.
Amen to that, Sista! I took the girls to see New Moon and I was yawning most of the way through it! I also agree that Kristin Stewart can't act her way out of a paper bag. Maybe she just needs some prozac..... Anyway, more power to the ones making all the money off these books and movies, but I just don't get it.
The emu oil has anti bacterial properties and facilitates the healing of inflammation. Here's where I get mine. It is less expensive than other places. I also get other oils and ingredients for my lotions and potions here. Seems to be good quality.
I have yet to use Neem oil, though I have read of its benefits (you have more here than I have seen). I really like Emu oil. Have you read up on that? I has many healing properties.
Now you are sliding down a slippery slope, Mr. CT. Drea has quite refined taste and only the highest octane man would be allowed to pump her gas. I think, as she has a fondness for you (as do I) that you would be very aware of this preference for quality.
RE: RIP to the GREAT John Wooden
Very touching tribute, mjames. I can feel how much you respect and admire him.
