Trusting yourself is the only thing that matters. Once you have overcome self doubt, whatever happens will be okay. In other words, if you trust yourself to make the best decision, given the information you have at the time, even if things goes awry it will be fine. We sometimes have uncomfortable experiences in order to bring to light a wound within us that we want to heal. So though it may look like a "mistake", a decision made from the heart and your intuition will always be for your highest good.

Humans are unreliable creatures. To put trust in another is to give away your innate knowingness and will end in suffering. Trust yourself and open your heart and all will work out exactly as it should. JMO

My comment was aimed more at the "perfect" part as I don't think we humans are meant to be perfect., unless we are talking about being perfect in our imperfection! Just wanted to clarify that point. Coconut cream pie

I've never had a cream pie in the face. Anyone here ever volunteered for one of those booths at the school carnival and such? I am such a cornball, I laugh every time someone in a movie gets one in the face! Makes me think of that food fight scene in Blazing Saddles! Okay, I'm rambling....

I agree that tuning in, using our intuition is the best barometer for gauging someone's sincerity. Chemistry is not, in my opinion, a good indicator of sincerity. Many people have chemistry that end up in very bad relationships. Chemistry is a biological reaction to pheromones, and can be present exclusive of sincerity.
