RE: Men is this true?

Suocndy, I sort of agree with you....

Heard it put this way. Women are the ocean, men are the boat. The power is all in the ocean, but if you want to get from one side to the other, a boat comes in handy. wave

RE: Vanity Fair and City II (34)

I love how you express yourself, Janmei! I'm sure there are plenty of shoulders here for you to cry on. We all need support from time to time. And sometimes it's just venting all our frustration that changes the our perspective and helps us move out of patterns of behavior. You are a very wise woman, it is most evident! Some people may be dumping on you, but others, I'm sure, recognize your wisdom and trust your insights.

JOY is the hub of my wheel as well! All spokes need to feed that Joy! (which sometimes makes me wonder why I am on CS laugh laugh )

Love this post!!applause applause

RE: Do you believe in zodiac sign?

You know, Maxmate, I really would like to understand. Ever since my "smile" blog you have been super antagonistic toward me. What is it, do I look like someone you hate?

Have fun, I hope whatever it is, you get what you need from it.

RE: Watching the Storm

The sun is always shining, sometimes it's just covered by the clouds. May your Beloved come in and bust the cloud cover wide open so that you may shine your full radiance to the world!

Maxmate wrote:

"Considering the fact that there are 6.5 billion people on earth. If there are 12 signs, there would be 541 million people alike for each star sign. I consider that a distant probability. In fact, I find star signs often misleading.

Perhaps some traits on a very generalised perspective might be grouped to a star sign, but I am never sure.

On the contrary, my REAL experience, so far, of meeting people from across the globe is that every individual is unique and different from any other peron in the world.

So I prefer understanding people as they are and not merely by their star signs. It works better for me this way. "

Definitely sounds like you don't think much of Astrology. Not a big leap there by anyone's standards. I didn't mention Astronomy dunno

Karma Cards? I have those. Cute, but not much more than very, very basic stuff. Glad you have found what works best for you.

RE: Do you believe in zodiac sign?

Miss Drea, I agree with you. We are a microcosm of the macrocosm. As above, so below. There is no separation between us and everything else in existence.

It seems to me, and this is just how it resonates with me, the birth chart is just a map given to us to help us remember who we are and what we intended to do tis life in these bodies. Part of the fun of incarnating is that we forget the Divinity that we are for a time so that we can play with being the opposite of who we are.

We are Spirit playing at being in form. We are immortal Beings playing at being finite. We are abundance playing with limitation. Then at the appropriate time, if it is our karma, we turn around in consciousness and start the journey back to know Who We Really Are. And Astrology can help with that process. What fun!!!

RE: Do you believe in zodiac sign?

Miss Emilyan, Astrology is fascinating! It is fun to see a chart and help people understand what energies are working in their life (many on a subconscious level).

I have a friend who is interested in a guy and we compared their charts. They have a lot of compatibility between them, but he is not coming into the relationship. His chart shows that the major key obstacle this life is his relationship with his father. Mercury (communication/mind) square (angular energy) Saturn (father). His father died and ever since he has been going through major internal hell. All his daddy issues are coming up and causing him to see how his father belittled his dreams and "encouraged" him to be someone he is not. That is just an example of why I enjoy Astrology. It enables me to find out what makes people tick so that I can understand them and give them what they need (if anything) from me to support them knowing themselves more clearly.

Fun fact: Since the moon rules women, it is said that women are actually more like their moon sign than their sun sign.

RE: feelings

Miss Blondedoll, I agree, sharing one's innermost vulnerabilities is scary!!!! Self trust is the key, like you said.

RE: feelings

Mr. Rapowal, if you truly feel that way then you should go to your wife and tell her what you have been up to with the fine widow. What are you talking about? You think confessing your secrets on this site is going to make you well? Right living makes one well.

That phrase that you used is about shame and how that shame creates dis-ease. It is not about what you are doing. You can live any way you please, but please don't try to con us with your bs.

RE: Do you believe in zodiac sign?

Calm, who said I was addressing you in my comment? comfort

RE: Do you believe in zodiac sign?

Astrology has been practiced for thousands of years. It is a science. The sun sign in one small part of the chart. There are 12 signs, 12 houses, 9 planets plus the time of your birth (the ascendent) and then how all of these elements and signs aspect each other.

It is interesting to me that people who have no knowledge at all about a subject write as if they have. There is no reason involved when someone debunks something they are ignorant about.

Watching the full moon alone should be indication enough that the planets, moon, and sun have an effect on us. It doesn't matter if one believes or not, but please speak about subjects of which you have some knowledge when giving an opinion.

Shoot from the hip, but not aggressive, to my mind at least. Fire signs, so may have good sized egos. Love Love Love their sense of humor and upbeat attitude! Nothing gets those Jupiterians down!

RE: Dealing with hate!!

It's best we allow ourselves to have our own viewpoints, Mr. EasyWriter. None are right and none are wrong, just different. It is really fun to engage in comments on these blogs with you.

I generally feel that if the pests don't bug me, I don't try to rid the house of them. We are able to co-habitate in harmony. They have every right to live as much as I do, even if we are not compatible in some ways. As long as I have plenty of space, I'm happy.

Mr. EasyWriter, I know it's weird but I love to see your name come up. applause applause

Sound advice. Getting the feeling this one is more interested in a pity party than really helping himself. Oh well, we tried.

Best of everything to you Mr. Hotty! My wish for you is whatever you wish for yourself. Good Luck!hug

RE: The real you

Has anyone here ever looked a mirror and said, "I love you (your name) so much, you are wonderful just the way you are"? It is an interesting practice. Most people won't even do it and if they do, it feels very uncomfortable to them. Why would that be?

Probably for the same reason people don't feel comfortable being authentic with others. We are all worthy beyond measure of love, especially love of Self. If we can't appreciate ourselves, how do we ever expect to believe that others will appreciate us? JMO.

RE: Dealing with hate!!

Hotty,

This is for you.

No-Thought for the Day : "There has never been a person like you before, there is not anybody else like you right now in the whole world, and there will never be anybody like you. Just see how much respect existence has paid to you. You are a masterpiece — unrepeatable, incomparable, utterly unique. Even the hardest heart, the rock-like heart, will start melting in gratitude." Osho

RE: Dealing with hate!!

"i have tryd killing myself 14 times due to pple that are close to me that just won't stop bringing me down in every aspect, i have been hurt mentaly and fisicaly through those around me"

The only way to feel empowered is to know that we create, whether we know it or not, our lives. If we stop blaming everything on people and circumstances "out there" and start taking responsibility for our own happiness, our lives can be full of wonderful experiences. As long as we continue to believe everything is all someone else's fault and that we are just victims we will always be miserable.

You are a valuable and infinitely appreciated Being with unlimited opportunity to make your life what you wish it to be. No one comes into this life with the intention to live it by anyone's standards but their own.

If you are over the age of 18 it is time for you to stop the blame game and start living your life in ways that bring you joy. What inspires you? Is it art, music, dancing, playing in the park? Whatever it is Do it as much and as often as you can.

And remember, the most important thing is to try to always make any action you take a win/win. Win for you and win for others.
