RE: Tauraus ( the best zodiac sign!!!!) :)

Hi Richy and Sassi! We Taurus types do have it pretty darn good!!applause applause

RE: Eastern vs. Western Medicine

I guess there is a blood type reaction with cupping, now that I think of it. It brings the blood to the surface. It is funny to see people who have had cupping. For a few days they have these big round (about 2 -3 " diameter)"hickies" at the sites of the cupping.laugh laugh

RE: Eastern vs. Western Medicine

True, knowledge and experience are very helpful. But why would the color of a car have anything to do with a person's intentions on the road? Because subconsciously people who are aggressive will choose red cars. People in white cars tend to be more spacey. It is also their energy frequencies that resonate with outer things that have them make certain choices, like car color.

RE: Eastern vs. Western Medicine

Mike, as we have been writing here, the body expresses what is in the mind. The mind expresses the feeling state. So, absolutely, you are reading body language as an outer expression of what a person is feeling. But how does that body language make you feel anything? It can't. It is your resonance with the energy that a person is emitting that causes you to feel uncomfortable, or anxious, or angry, or aroused. The body language is just like a symptom of a dis-ease. It is not the cause of the feeling just like a runny nose is not the cause of allergies.

RE: Eastern vs. Western Medicine

We have cupping here too, but it does not involve blood letting. The cups are little glass dome looking things and a match is lit, put under the glass dome as it sits on an imbalanced area of the body, then the smoke creates a vacuum which suctions the skin and the sulfur from the match acts as a detoxifier (think that's how it works).. is it the same idea, Emilyyan?

RE: Found and saved

congratulations, Isaiah! I am glad you are feeling your joy!!yay hug

RE: Eastern vs. Western Medicine

Yeah, you are totally tuned in Mike. I have read posts by you that were very much about feeling states (different from emotions). You just haven't put a definition to it or use it in a really deliberately conscious way.

When you drive your truck, I can guarantee you use the energy you pick up to "read" what others are going to do on the road. Your intuition is the reader of the energies. Energy frequencies tells you, okay there is a car that feels like it's going to make a lane change right when I plan to...intuition then says, "wait and see what they do". You either follow that little voice of reason or you don't.

RE: Eastern vs. Western Medicine

Women would not have issues with the blood thing anyway. Blood letting is a monthly phenomenon for all pre menopausal women.

RE: Karma believers, please explain

I agree with both Mike and Drea. Life is as simple or not as we make it, but there is conditioning from birth to follow the herd and to stand on our heads a thousand different ways to fit in or please society, parents, teachers, bosses...

If we can live from our soul's directives and get out of our own way, then life can be very simple. I just have not experienced it as being too easy to slough off all of that conditioning. It takes a lot of focus for me all the time. Yet I do live a pretty simple life and have tons of appreciation for all that is in my life right now.

My mind has other ideas and likes to mess with me though. Still working on releasing guilt, attachment, obligation. sigh

RE: more from Blogosphere

I have no idea about conspiracies but I put nothing past our government. Look at the further implementation of "big brother" since 9/11. Not too far fetched.

Mike, recorded history only goes back, what, 12,000 years? How can you say that war has always been a part of the human experience? No one knows that.

RE: Eastern vs. Western Medicine

I would venture to say that part of the reason you felt better after acupuncture more than after a conventional doctor appointment is that acupuncture treats the reason for the symptoms rather than just allopathically. The reason people are in dis-ease, in whatever form it takes, is because the body is out of homeostasis due to stress or other imbalances.

Everything begins as a thought. A person attaches a story to the thought. The story creates emotion, usually stressful, and the emotion gets suppressed and buried. It has to release somewhere so it goes into the body. It is hard to believe with all the information out there people still think the mind and body are separate. Everything is connected and treating symptoms is just treating the final manifestation of a thought pattern, which is why so much of allopathic medicine is ineffective and symptoms recur.

Acupuncture works with the energy system of the body. It is much subtler and catches the imbalances before they fully manifest into physical problems. Working with energy is effective because it is more direct in its healing effects, it goes after the emotional attachment (energy frequency) to the thought that creates discomfort in the body. Physical ailments are nothing more than you trying to get your attention!

Also, acupuncture, massage, crystal and aroma therapy and healing with herbs have been around at least 5000 years. If it didn't work it would have been long gone.

RE: more from Blogosphere

Does anyone contemplate why the drugs are needed in the first place? Depression, anxiety, insomnia, psychoses. Hello!! Maybe war is not the natural way for humans to interact and solve their differences. When are people going to wake up?!

The drugs are needed more and more because the soldiers are not as easily brainwashed as the old hard core God and country lock step soldiers were. The sheep are beginning to awaken and drugs are the only vehicle the government has to try to stay in power and control. Same with the kids. The school system doesn't know how to handle this new breed of free thinkers so puts labels on them and feeds them paxil and (what's that one for ADD?)...anyway, things are changing and they are changing fast. We all better look around and see what is right before our eyes. JMO

RE: Can we really find love by using dating sites..??

Richy, welcome to the fun and insanity! I have enjoyed what you have posted in the past few days!applause applause

I don't know if love can be found on the internet, but why not keep all options open? Have no expectations but don't exclude the possibility? Anything can happen!

At least it is an entertaining place to play now and again!

cheers

RE: BE HAPPY TODAY!!!!

Excellent blog, Richy! I agree with you 100%. Takes practice and focus, doesn't it? It is easy to slip out of happiness when the outside world seems to be working against us. The only thing that works for me is to bring myself back to this moment and begin an appreciation rant. So many things to be happy about!yay yay
