Well said. Although I'd be careful about using it as your only social life. I come on here in addition to my offline socialising. Sometimes though we can't help ourselves I guess.
@ Rohaan - I must respectfully disagree. Tell me this: what did people do before internet dating came along huh? Did they walk around with their eyes closed talking to the first person that seemed nice?
I used to chat away to people with or without a picture. When I'd eventually get one and I didn't find the person attractive (come on I'm only human!) I didn't see the point in wasting their time or mine if I wasn't going to pursue it.
There's also been times where I got a picture and found the girl hot then they stopped replying so I'm not a total bad guy
I wonder if it's at all possible to find anyone on here. Been on a few dates with varying degrees of success but nothing concrete. However it's nice to have something like this on the back burner if you just fancy some random conversation/flirtation.
@ 10kOhms - You're kind of missing my point. If a girl is smoking hot then that's awesome if she wants to put it out there. I'm a dude at the end of the day. The problem I have is that she's using ONLY her hotness to attract a guy. She describes nothing of her personality, just a list of unrealistic qualities she wants in a man. It just tells me that she takes herself way too seriously, is vain and is pretty self-centered. Sure you're absolutely right, maybe she thinks thats what guys want (many do) and she might be a lovely person but that's just the initial impression I get when I see this kind of thing.
Nonetheless you hang around the barber shop, you're gonna get your hair cut eventually.

Anytime 10k! Women who are older then me are more grounded, easy going and generally look after their appearance.
