RE: WX: The Pavilion, the Cliff and the Valley

hmm now you got me there Jan...I never think I am lovely, I'm sure the number people call me lovely almost equals to the number they see me lousy... I am somewhat eccentric and unpredictable. moping maybe when my mood lifts up, I can be lovely. So do you. dunno hug

RE: WX: The Pavilion, the Cliff and the Valley

trust me...you're not the first one to make such a confusion, because we are originally clones.. blushing

RE: WX: Lazy Boys, or Hard-Working?

laugh you feel like a million dollars after comming back! Any miracle on your trip? But that's good, we do need some time or some place to rest our exhaustion. I like rainy dais too, but it depends, sometimes it could be very frustrating when you plan to go out for some outdoors... Anyway, be happy and keep your chin up, I'm here for you. kiss

RE: WX: Lazy Boys, or Hard-Working?

haha, I thought it was because of your birthday blushing I used to wish my birthday would never come around though.

Um, at least most people still read novels but me. sigh you're not too odd yet. It's odder when I can't even find anyone who hasn't read a novel by now... I just loathe reading. help

Hainan is sunny lately, the weather is fine. But last weekend we had typhoon and it left a few days of rainstorm and downpour. Actually raining is quite often in Haikou. You're still in Shenzhen?

RE: WX: Lazy Boys, or Hard-Working?

Jan, glad to see you blogging again. hug

I thought you were somewhat upset, I just want to say we turn not older with years, but newer every day, and we are always the same age inside.

About Louis Cha and Liang Yusheng such great masters, I'm sorry that I have never read their books, in other words, I haven't even done reading a whole novel in my life. Reading is simply not my cup of tea. That's a pity though. sigh

Hope all is well with you...bouquet

RE: Multiple Sclerosis...I fight this monster every da

I'm sorry for your suffering. Honestly I don't know much about MS, but most of the diseases have very close connection with emotions, once the emotions rise and fall heavily, it will cause once. Now that there is no exact cure for MS, I would suggest taking everything easy, keeping a good mood no matter what, doing enough exercise and maintaining a healthy diet..Tell you what, I have heard quite a few cancer patients who were given up by all the doctors were cured by themselves being optimistic! Trust me, don't give up hope, you still have a long way to go against it! hug

Have you ever tried "acupuncture"? I'm sure it can help you ease a little or even can cure it, who knows? Give it a try, nothing harmful. thumbs up

RE: beer

Adam.. glad to see you wake up from hibernation! beer

RE: me

RE: Eastern vs. Western Medicine

Hi Drea, another good stuff comes to mind that I want to introduce to you:

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a small, spongy herb, to facilitate healing. Moxibustion has been used throughout Asia for thousands of years; in fact, the actual Chinese character for acupuncture, translated literally, means "acupuncture-moxibustion." The purpose of moxibustion, as with most forms of traditional Chinese medicine, is to strengthen the blood, stimulate the flow of qi, and maintain general health.

Similar to acupuncture, but it is used with moxa sticks instead of needles. Almost have the same functions.. thumbs up

I'm very careful about my health since years of some imbalance. After that I lay store by these traditional treatments and herbal remedies. I must say they really help me greatly..I personally appreciate ancient medicine very much, after all, it's the treasure that our forebears hand down to us...Contrary to most young people living a careless life regardless of their health. I never bother to pay more attention to anything that benefits my health, good health is formed at the early age, like the disease should be found the earlier the better. And I believe life doesn't only belong to myself but also to those who care for me, that's how I cherish it to the best of my abilities. Maybe it seems a bit boring life but I have no regret to live my life in a very comfortable calm state..
