This temporary pause does not apply to those with a qualifying job offer or applying under the PhD stream. We will start accepting applications again on May 4, 2013 when changes to FSWP selection criteria take effect.
Cautious about getting into a relationship again based on past experiences.
Myself, I would rather be single and lonely than in the last relationship that I was in, won't get into detail but it is kind of stupid but I am happier now
Funny...my daughter asked me, how I can live alone and be single for a long time. I told her that I don't need someone, I may want someone. There is a difference. She responded to me, I can't be alone. But I did admit to her that it can be lonely at times.
Greece is on my bucket list. I would love to go to Athens, have seen a lot of history shows.

We have this dish called Poutine: French fries are topped with fresh cheese curds, and covered with brown gravy or sauce. But I like goats cheese with mine...mmmmm
I don't really need the pump but it would help keep my numbers normal. I have to count my carbohydrate then figure out insulin-to-carb ratios. It's not easy, there is carbs in almost everything we eat. I found out 7 years ago, when checked it was just over 600 mg/dL (33 mmol/L) It has been a lot better since then. I was not able to take the pills. At least in Canada we have free heath care and I have very good health benefits from where I work. But I still have my wine :)
I had to care for my dad after my mother passed away. He had Alzheimer's, I took care of him for years even when he did not know who I was. I had to finally put him in a home, not because I could not care for him. Because of some of the stuff he was doing, walking out of the house with out his pants on, he had forgot to put them on. He went to the bank to get money out, had forgot that he was there the day before and was in the back of the bank trying to get money. He did a lot of strange things but nothing that would harm him a lot of the stuff that he did I would giggle at. The police talked to me and they helped me get him into a good home. I would go there with my kids to visit but never knew who we were...but he did enjoy us even tho he did not remember us. It was the hardest thing I had to do and it killed me inside. He is now gone and I miss both my parents a lot.
As for me my oldest daughter would probably help me but I would not want to burden her.
My hair is getting long and I plan on letting it grow a bit more. I will never have short hair because the last time that I had my hair cut just above shoulder length "girl style hair cut" this guy that came to my door to try to sell me something said to me "excuse me sir would you like to buy this product" He just lost a sale...lol When he realized that he made a mistake he said sorry....I thought "to late"...lol
I knew this older lady, she was 65. She had long hair, just above the middle of her back. Beautiful silver hair that she always tied up into a ponytail. I thought this made her attractive. She would not have looked the same with short hair.
