Lovestick....you do what you need to do...I do what my heart tells me to do....my heart is with the animals...without someone to back them up, or help them...who will be their hope? I am very sad about the children and all the horrible things that happen on this planet.
The amount of animals that get euthanized astounds me. Only one in ten dogs ever get a home. one point four million dogs...and one point three million cats are euthanized every year. I have heard of animals not dying after being gassed or injected....very sad...
IF you keep on looking for what you do not have, you will miss that which is already within your hand.... If one lives only for the future, they perceive lack If one lives in the past, they perceive regret If one lives in the present moment, they will perceive happiness, content, and peace in all they do.
Flyjames, I am old fashioned...if the man does not make the first move...it will never happen with me.....plus I am in the South.....manners are veryimportant and respect.....
Thank you, Johnny...very well thought out points in the subject of rejection, ego, and self esteem.....But, more specifically...how do you handle rejection? or your rejection stories.... I will start...years ago I had a crush on the most beautiful man...named Guy....but, he was in lve with a tall willowy blonde who would not commit to him....I was immensely hurt by his rejection...good but not good enough. Very humbling experience.... Here on CS>, yes, I have been rejected....It was a bit ouchy, but I have moved on. I only hate spending a very long time writing someone then it turns out not right...seems a waste of time to write to someone for so long...getting hopes up that perhaps one will meet the "right one" someday-I wait...I get rejected and I do reject others...who do not suite me.....Big ego- I don't think my ego is in the way- I think I knw spefically what I want and when it happens I will know. Attraction has to be a part of anyone's relationship-without attraction...then one is settling.

One must stand up for right...no matter how uncomfortable you are....the point is to be indignant and not uncomfortable....Judgement is judgemnet no matter what you call it.
