I had moved here and thought this was my home.....so pretty here....but, I know my pathway is laid out....
I have loved, and lost and loved and lost again. Don't look back...it is only full of regrets....Stay in the now and move on. Think of only happy times you had with him. Death is not forever....he is in your heart and will always stay there. Get a new bunch of friends, also.
Thank you everyone.....His name is "Sluggy II" after the first turtle I had when my kids were little. Once in Tacoma, Washington I was visiting my good friend, Happy G. We were in his Auto Wrecking business when a box turtle walked in throught he front door. His son said he's looking for Volkswagon "turtlback" parts" and we all laughed. Hap said what shall we do with him? I replied, "Well, I'll take him home for my kids!" And my kids loved him...he ran around our house....we had him for years. It is good karma to save animals!!!
WOmen are real people. Not things. WE do have understanding, compassion, Intelligence, and all other emotions and qualities that men(some) have. Silly man.
Patrick, it is not so much to criticize but more of a "lack of respect" in tody's society to think that the word is an everyday kind of word when there are so many more interesting words in our vocabulary. I for one wince every time I hear it....it hurts my ears. Men especially find that word especially useful in everyday conversations. I usually say,"And...DO you eat with that mouth??"
