your blog was complaining about hot young women were shunning you for men their own age, so i wasnt "assuming" anything..i also wasnt slamming you, i was only pointing out that it isnt really fair for you to say someone younger whos wanting a man their own age is shallow.. we all have our preferences..

Hmmm..If you are looking for young and hot then why blame them for wanting someone young and hot as they are instead of a older man?
just my advise but most humans are visual..try to not put your expectations higher than what you can offer..there might be a sweet good woman in your own age who would be a better match.

im not trying to be mean just saying if you dont view yourself realistically then your going to get many disappointments.
if you dont have to offer someone what you are expecting from them, then it wont work..

Most men are visual creatures but a lot of men fall in love with a woman because of her inner beauty more so than the outward.
Also beauty is in the eye of the beholder..
One man might find a lady attractive while another man does not.
It is a matter of preference.
The only men I find ridiculous are the men who are looking for women who are way above the guys level or much too young.
Like men in their 60's looking for a girl only 20?
I mean come on..That to me is kinda sick.

I've been taken out to movies for a first date and usually it ends up good and a 2nd date planned.
My guess is this woman might not have felt the chemistry when she first saw you in person, but didnt want to bolt on you before the date was over?
which would be worse? driving all the way out to see her and she bolts before the movie?
Either way shes going to be considered rude.
In my opinion she should have been polite and stuck around a little longer then gone home and a few days later let you down easy..
Rejection is never nice for anyone to go through..
Movie tickets are cheap..At least near me they are.
Dinner is way more expensive.
Coffee meetings are boring and like a job interview.
Next time maybe you should invest in a web cam and do your interviews that way?
Then you can both see each other before investing even gas to drive anywhere to meet.

You can put a block filter on age requirements on your profile. just go into the edit my profile on the left side of your screen on cs.. those men in my opinion are weird, because they are too old to date someone young enough to be their grandaughter.
i wouldnt be attracted to someone 30 plus years older than me either at my age and especially not if i was only 18.

hi gotitall..if age doesnt matter to you then why are you not dating a older woman? i know why because again the contradiction and double standards i see posted. also you seem to attack anything i say which makes me believe what i already know and have posted.
in my post i said "most" 20 something year olds dont want a man old enough to be their dad..i didnt say all..of course there will always be exceptions but they are less than the average norm . Plus some of these younger women might not be very attractive and probably would go out with a much older guy..

My opinion is that it is a double standared that older men dont date women older than themselves, but they expect a much younger woman to accept them.
looks are important to me and the only way i would date a older man is if he doesnt look old. i also dont date real overweight men either..we all have our preferences, but at least i try to be realistic and I'm not expecting someone way above my level like some members do.

True but the majority of them dont want a man old enough to be their father..lol..just giving him a helpful suggestion if he is truely looking for a partner. might help if he adjusts his age preference..he could also be scaring off any woman closer to his age because of it?

Dont trust too soon with anyone, believe nothing of what they tell you and only half of what their actions are.
Keep yourself guarded untill you feel more at ease they are real and not a liar.

I hope you have a nice christmas..I dont have a boyfriend at the moment either but I do have friends and Family and plan to spend it with them. If you have friends and family enjoy the holidays with them it makes things nice.
Holidays to many people are depressing if they feel they dont have a partner and I used to let it get to me, but I learned how to create happiness in my life even without a partner.
