Don't listen to ANY of these people. Online is tricky at best and it's for those who have no other option. I think alot of these people don't like hearing that what they are doing to find love may seem like a joke to someone else. For example: me. I am soo involved in my studies; nursing, and I really don't have the patience to play the games that the vast majority of males seem to want to play. But if you're not "invested" into online dating, interested or intrigued by this process.....then it's never going to work. If you are more comfortable meeting people face to face...then do so
It's tricky bc online dating allows two senarios. 1.) complete lieing/manipulation or 2.) Complete honesty...both of which can be hard to deal with face to face. It's kinda about what you're willing to risk.
I value street smarts just a little bit more than regular intelligence. Uber smart people seem to be missing or can't comprehend the basic interactions between individuals and group dynamics. They use their s"marts" to distract others from relaizing that there is somthing very fundamental to everyone else that they can't understand. Experiance = Wisdom...and I'll take that over base knowledge..
If you don't want to deal with an international relationship, then don't. It's there as an option bc it can happen for some people and work out for the best. Others like the long distance, technological relationship because it makes any kind of "committment" that much easier and they're more likely to be able to be anything they want. It just depends on what your willing to do and how far your willing to go.
I seem to get low votes from women and high votes from men...but after 200 votes they seem to average out to a good number. Most girls my age think I am a 5 and guys my age think I am a 6...but the next age group likes me to a 8...so I don't know. Maybe it's based on the photo quality for girls and attractiveness for men..
