I use Skype for work (i'm allegedly retired) and talking to friends. It went down yesterday (Monday) for some time, I never did find out the cause, anyone know?
A good blog pointing out our cruelty to other humans in not recognising their right to live without fear of attack from ISIS etc. If we paid more attention to this instead of putting up a smoke screen of hunted animals we would have a better perspective.

Let me further explain, although I would use Finnish cash machine, my main account is in England, so when I make a withdrawal, I get it in Euros but my bank pays in GB pounds therefore I get the advantage of a higher exchange rate, I pay less pounds for more Euros received.
I have an account with Danske Bank in Finland, but my capital is with a British bank in England. So I am doing as you say to a certain extent. The pound is advantageous to to the Euro, but from running costs day to day I have found cash back from supermarkets cheaper than using the cash machine in Finland.
Yes I go to the pub by myself, people tend to think I an stand offish but although I speak Finnish fluently I tend to enjoy my own company as the Finnish don't have much of s sense of humour, or rather they don't understand mine.
Also I have been caught in some very expensive rounds with people I hardly know.
If I am entertaining a lady it is different, and if she understands English and the culture that is an added bonus. I am not really a miserable sod
