It was nicer when the pictures showed up with the post The way it is set up now looks very cold and leaves you not having much desire to post. The whole thing feels very small and uninteresting to me. On the other hand it doesn't really matter what they do. If we don't like it we don't need to be here. I'm just stating in my opinion I enjoyed the old set up much more.

Mine was the alternator....this winter....Sweetykat....is the same advice I got from an ex-mechanic across the street....he and my son put a new one on....saved me bunches of money!!!! Alternators are much cheaper and don't take that long to change out....if bought at a discount parts place....this job could have run up to three-hundred...got it done for one-hundred thrity....once alternator is removed you can get it put on a machine at a parts place to see for sure if that's it before paying for a new alternator.....Good Luck!!!

That's too funny....but come to think about it the last military base we were stationed at....couple of miles down the road....Dad tried to avoid going that way....'Because I asked why they were standing out on the side of the road dressed like that in the middle of the afternoon?????

Thanks....my brother retires in four years as a corrections officer....he has dreamed of going there also....He said when he retires he will take me....I will e-mail you here in the next couple of days....so we can stay in touch...be really nice to have someone give information and to visit....always much much nicer than tours....I don't think I'd like a tour much....I like individualism too much....better shown places or told about places from a local person.....

Nuala and Jim....I think that is just Peachy.....I grew up in a large family....oldest of 7.....what a trip it was....one of my younger sisters always got car sick....on me of course....I was the tooth slayer....knot destroyer in hair and shoes!!! Nurse....teacher....tried to be spiritual leader....and most of all tried to set a good example about love....I am so happy to hear you two are still hangin in there!!!!

My son is at the Navel Linguistics Acadamy in CA.....we are very proud of him in his uniform....and he wears it with much dignity....no matter what is happening we should be proud of our military men and women.....

It's tradition here to have all you can eat fish fry's on Friday's....there are more options open in the summer months....but they are still here in the winter in atleat four places....small town here....predominately Catholic...that's where this tradition come's from....and now almost everyone does it....pretty neat really....

If Since its Friday night we'd go to a fish fry somewhere in town or out of town....go rent a movie or two....maybe the movie theater...ride down and sit by the Mackinac Bridge which is five miles long connecting the upper and lower Peninsula's of MI...we would sit looking at the lights on it w/the heater on...then go home and make our own heat.....

I would never want the responsibility of moderating other people....that in itself is an overwhelming thought to me!!! Let alone all the many other aspects of running this sight. I hope I have never caused any harm to anyone....I do joke around alot...but also enjoy being serious and sharing lifes experiences with others....everyone is different in their own special way...I was always taught that it is the way you present yourself....in joking on a forum sight I suppose not seeing someone's face...you could be easily taken wrong....but there is such a thing as controlling your context and wording....and if you are taken wrong or thing you have been....we can appologize and clarify our meaning....I have enjoyed being here....but have never fit in a clique so to speak....I enjoy all the individualism too much....no matter where you live or were born....
