i split from my fiance for 6 months and we got back together, admittedly we already had two children together but we ended up getting married and spending another 5 years together after that
it can work out if you both want it to, what i will say is remember why it never worked out in the first place, ask yourself if you can correct that and if you can and do get back together then you need to remember what got you two back together to keep yourselfs together
