I never even mentioned global warming, that was your assumption. Millions of young women face poverty and violence every day, they keep going despite the odds. Greta never had anything more than a broken finger nail to worry about. First world problems. Instead of being in school she talks about things she knows nothing about and the dim witted of the world think she is wonderful.
The difference between you and me is that I thought I knew everything at 16 but eventually realised I knew very little at that age. You thought you knew everything at 16 and you still think you do, when in fact you knew nothing then and you know nothing now. You are a mindless follower of fads, you are probably a vegan?
There was a girl from Afghanistan (cant recall her name) who stood up to the Taliban to get an education and they shot her in the head. Now there was a heroine who deserved a Nobel peace prize.
Greta is no mover or shaker she is a kid who is being manipulated and her parents should be ashamed of themselves for letting this happen to her. I would fear for her mental health down the line if she keeps being exposed like this.
So you think being nominated for the Nobel Peace prize means she has had to face anything difficult in her life?....some winners of that prize have risked their lives to bring peace to their countries.
This conversation between you two reminds me a bit of Turkey. My brother went there and thought they were the friendliest people he ever met. Some friends who had teenage daughters also went there and couldn't wait to get out of it.
I read somewhere that if someone is lying to you they won't look you in the eye when speaking. On the other hand some are aware of this and over compensate by looking you in the eye too much........hard for you to know which is which!
Good point. I think the queen should have passed things over to Charlie two or three years ago, I think he deserves his chance. Hell, even the pope can abdicate.
