Yeah me too. Rejection isn't always easy to deal with.
In a way I've always envied women when it comes to the whole romance thing. No pressure there, just say yes or no as politely as you can.
As I got older I thought of many times when I should have asked someone for a date but didn't. Lost opportunities. On the other hand there were a couple of occasions when I asked and immediately regretted it when I saw the look on her face lol. Life is so full of complications.

I think a little bit of socialism is necessary, as in health and education, to make life bearable for all. Too much of it though and it smothers.

I don't think that these facts matter all that much. What really matters is how much the lowest socio-economic group have. Do they have enough to live a tolerable life? that's the only thing that's important.
