RE: What's inside your mind part 29

For god's sake somebody say something!

RE: for guys first dates

I've known a few guys who talk about themselves endlessly, I can't understand how their wives put up with it, I guess there are some women who look for certain things in their men and if they have it then they are happy and willing to put up the self-absorbtion as part of the price. I'll never understand it I just suppose some women are desperate to marry and have kids.
It sometimes goes the other way and the woman is self-absorbed but it's not as common.

RE: What's inside your mind part 29

No, as Stan said it's too dangerous these days. In fact the department of foreign affairs has put Derry on the list of places it warns citizens not to go to.....along with Somalia, Afghanistan and Syria.
grin

RE: 1916 is when us Irish were free from British rule

There is very little of that now. Some republicans refuse to accept the will of the people and continue to use violence but it's only a fraction of what went before.

RE: 1916 is when us Irish were free from British rule

No! The majority of the people of Northern Ireland want it to stay in the UK rather than join with the Republic of Ireland. It's not just a small majority either, it would be about 75% - 25% if a vote was held on it.

RE: What's inside your mind part 29

'Brandywell' is Irish for cold and empty place, desolate.

RE: Was Enda Right !!

A good start to the season for both of us!

RE: Was Enda Right !!

You might not want them in but the people who voted for them do, that's democracy.

RE: Was Enda Right !!

Just pointing out the truth is hardly being right-wing?

RE: What's inside your mind part 29

Womaniser!

RE: Was Enda Right !!

I wouldn't support them, they're paid pretty well and they come out with this demand for a massive pay increase. Privitise it and let someone like Michael O'Leary run it, he'd take none of this nonsense.
