RE: Where would you be if this was your last week on earth before it exploded?

I would imagine that if the world was going to end because of a natural event and not by 'mans' doing, then if there are such things as 'Aliens' they would probably turn up and I'd be outside
with my Velsi, in the middle of the field out the back and would be 'waving like mad to be 'beamed up',

RE: Would you date someone 20 years older or younger than you?

I've had it then grin
20 years older and I would probably have to 'visit' her and 20 years younger and my kids wouldn't speak to me again rolling on the floor laughing

I'll be quite happy with someone nearer my own age, as 'SHE' is

This 'thread' reminds me of that lovely film 'The Bucket List'!!
Apart from 'Tupelo, Memphis and the Grand Canyon' I'd love to go 'Whale watching' off the coast of Vancouver or live with the 'Wolves' in the Canadian forests.

RE: is there a GOD

I’m sitting here looking at my ‘King James’ Bible’ and reading
the ‘creation’, again, as stated in the book of Genesis;
Chapter 1 verse 3;
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Verse 4;
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the
light from the darkness.
Verse 5;
And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night.
And the evening and the morning were the first day? (no sunrise nor sunset, very clever)
Verse 14;
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven
to divide the day from the night etc. ( I thought He did that in verse 4)
Verse 15;
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give
light upon the earth: and it was so.
Verse 16;
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day,
and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

What I would like to know is; where did the light in ‘verse 3’ come from?
It seems that if you ‘really’ read the Bible, you will come to
the ‘obvious’ conclusion that it is all ‘speculation’ and that nothing,
ever, has been proven.
I’m not saying that there is no ’Creator’ as I have said before but ’this God’
or any other ’man made God’ just doesn’t work for me.
There are so many unanswered questions and the answers are certainly not
found in any ’religious’ book.

RE: is there a GOD

Who is 'Our' as in; "Let us make man in 'our' image"?

This song tells how I felt towards my eldest Daughter, whom I never met until she was 29 years old but I thought of her every day.

I wonder why some peeps bother wasting their valuable time posting comments if they don't wish to get into the 'spirit', surely there's enough 'sadness' in the world without adding to it. grin

What's the last thing you do before getting into bed?

A No-Fly-Zone !!

You get an awful lot of 'flys' in these 'desert countries' so my Dad told me, when he was at El Alamein. yay
cheers

A No-Fly-Zone !!

Like the 'sunnies and sheites' don't you mean? grin
Only when it suits them I suppose, also some of these Arab countries are having similar problems themselves, so much for 'religion' again doh

cheers handshake

A No-Fly-Zone !!

As the Arab League have stated that they are in favour of one over Libya, why don't they do it themselves. We all know what happens when 'Western Countries' get involved with their (Arab) problems.
Surely they have enough fighter planes etc, given in exchange for 'OIL', to apply one themselves without incurring more anger and resentment towards the West.
Just a thought!!

RE: Chat up lines......

I suppose 'Breakfast' would be out of the question then?

RE: Chat up lines......
