No Worries, but just remember its a placement not a job, that's why you need to ask all the relevant questions..
You are working a 40hr week for 50 euro, so even tho yes you are working for them, they owe it to you to give you the experience you need... Just remember at the end of the 9 months, either you will have a job, or you will have a very strong CV with experience in a high level role with a reputable company, beats sitting on your behind with nothing to gain at the end of the day...
Ok I better sign off this before I start ranting again...best of luck with your decision
thanks for all the replys, I'm still looking, jeez some phones are big money out there!!! deffo going to try get an unlocked one tho so I can change around providers whenever the mood takes me!:)
Hey there, Im a lil torn when it comes to jobsbridge, I think its a great program for people just out of school college, or people that are moving from into a completely new career most of these people have the theory but no practical experience. I believe some employers just use it as cheap labour, But other company's have a great rep for hiring into permanent roles or at the very least giving people the experience needed to fill that gap in their CV. He needs figure that out himself.
As you said its a high level position your 'friend' :)needs to ask the employer the right questions e.g what the chances of a full time position at the end of the program, he can gauge from that if they are serious about this position. It needs to be a two way thing, so he needs to look into drawing out a skills training plan with his employer, he needs to look at the position and see what every company expects from it and work towards it...If its a good employer they will have a good plan in place...but he needs to own it... Sorry if that sounds like a bit of a rant but its a bit of a passion of mine lol sad as it seems:)
I hate the whole back and forward msg thing as well, but I also hate the Skype/Viber/ crap too... Just meet for a coffee, its an hour out a persons life! I am soo worth it!!
jeez do ya think, now that would be freaky, tho these guys had a few pictures of themselves and seemed pretty together I dunno but its tough out there!
well for what its worth I completely agree with what your bro is saying.....and I also agree that some are married and have plenty to hide but its happening a lot!! I carried out a bit of an experiment a couple weeks ago cause I taught this was very odd and decided to agree to meet the next 3 guys that asked me out that I had been chatting to for a while which I felt were decent guys, anyhows I did and everyone of them disappeared off line when I agreed.... like seriously WTF....
I never get cold feet when I agree to meet someone, I normally take time to chat and get to know them first and look forward to meeting for the first time. Its only natural to feel a lil apprehensive tho, In saying that I've been asked out a few times, agreed to meet and then they have disappeared off line don't figure
I started painting my house on Sunday and 3 days later only half way thru...I wonder is there such a thing as a paint fairy...love to wake up in the morn with it all done...my backs in a jock sry rant over
haha I don't remember that and I cant open the link but I wont deny it...I remember you too tho:) loads of hi's on PM seemingly no one is brave enough to admit the remember me publicly hahaha I'm not sure that's such a good thing
