Well The military approach expressed in the Dahiye Doctrine deals with asymmetrical combat against an enemy that is not a regular army and is embedded within civilian population; its objective is to avoid a protracted guerilla war. So not so different to say marshal law, but with deadly force. States with so many civilian terrorist groups, it's needed i guess. Can it be abused? definitely. So if america had an uprising and the 2nd amendment was utilized, the American government wouldn't do similar? Hell the patriot act is not so un-similar, and Guantanamo bay for example, is not in america for a reason.
But besides that, these countries have to agree to these "violations" to be bound by them.
International law is the term given to the rules which govern relations between states.
Despite the absence of any superior authority to enforce such rules, international law is considered by states as binding upon them, and it is this fact which gives these rules the status of law. So, for example, where a state wishes to avoid a particular rule, it will not argue that international law does not exist, but merely that states have not agreed that such a rule is to be binding upon them, or that the rule does not apply to the particular circumstances.
Unlike national or domestic law, international law is not set down in any legislation approved by a parliament. Even multilateral treaties do not apply to all states, but only to those which have consented to be so bound, by signing and ratifying or acceding to them. As a result, the precise rules of international law are often more difficult to identify than national laws, and may be found in a variety of sources.
Article 38 of the Statute of the International Court of Justice directs the Court to apply the following sources of law in deciding disputes:
"(a) international conventions, whether general or particular, establishing rules expressly recognised by contesting states;
(b) international custom, as evidence of a general practice accepted as law;
(c) the general principles of law recognised by civilised nations;
(d) … judicial decisions and the teachings of the most highly qualified publicists of the various nations, as subsidiary means for the determination of rules of law.”
Whatsapp was one of the early adoption message applications of end to end encryption, however this encryption does not make the app safer just more secure when it comes to data retrieval.
End to end encryption means the sender and receive holds the key to decrypt the messages you send back and forth, not the server you're using to send the messages. This means there is no middle man thats able to read your messages or calls etc. This also means the company can't be made get your info from the server for say legal reasons, as they dont have the key to do so, it's on the device not the server so it excuses them.
This however, is a double edged sword as it means scammers and spammers get the same treatment and can usually work from whatsapp with impunity.
The problem however in whatsapp is the shared use of analytics and meta data from it's sister services, facebook and instagram. Whats wrong with this? well it means say you're talking to Bob on whatsapp about the price of turnips and then visit facebook next day and see ads of turnips all over and see a friend suggestion for a Jack, who is actually Bob and shows he's married with triplets, same goes for instagram ads and suggestions etc.
There are other apps out there that offer end to end encryption, some better than others like telegram and signal but there are also apps that dont require your phone number to chat but with that comes the risk of people hiding for a reason. kik is a popular one, or at least it was.
Lot of newer android phones these days are dual sim phones, use a second sim with a crap pre-pay sim for these activities if needed.
A dating site is not a social networking site, the forums are being used for most meaningless ramble from inert people that have been on here too long and they use the forums to either waste time or just rant or there is a small scat of people who use them daily to ask redundant questions, you can just look through most of the forums thread titles to see this.
Most dating sites keep forums to a minimum or not at all or for paid support only, CS is an exception.
The problem with dating sites is the shear choice women have and they're awfully spoiled and within time it just becomes another window shop for them, most women or at least most i have come across on here on this site in the Ireland region have being shallow, selfish, and ignorant. While most have the option of whether to reply or not, most will do it abruptly even mid chat, usually if something in their list of wants doesn't get filled by your profile criteria and they won't think second about it or care.However like any good orchard, there are some good apples within the bad, just gotta look real hard, and even outside the fence at times.
