just because a farmer has a few hundred acres doesn't mean hes rich..plenty of farmers out there with a few hundred acres are making an average to low wage...the only way he'll make big bucks is to sell or rent out the land..thats if its any good at all..you couldn't sell or rent 300 acres of bog and marshland in the arsehole of mayo for farming because its of the poorest quality..the amount of subsidies and grants available for farmers does seem a lot..in fact an ignorant person would nearly say farming was a charity the amount of donations they get..but it far from it..those grants are keeping many fellas afloat..without them they would go bust
If the minimum wage is to be reduced to a measly 6.50 an hour the cost of living would want to drop significantly too..do you think shops have reduced their prices since the recession hit? they have in their eye..if anything goods and services have become more expensive and you have a raft of new taxes to add insult to injury..try surviving on 6.50 an hour with all that expense..what kind of a life would that be?
why would somebody bother working for minimun wage these days? and lets face it any jobs that are available out there are at the low end..minimum wage and to make matters worse you get worked to the bone..if you get paid 9 euro an hour over a 39 hour week thats around the 350 mark which is alright..i'd work for that but then you have your tax taken out which would leave you with a poxy 320 a week..now try take all your weekly expenses out of that..car..rent..food..and prices haven't come down at all since the the so called boom..you'd be lucky to have 20 quid left over for a bit of fun at the end of the week..so really you are only working for a 100 euro a week considering the dole is 188 a week..why would you want to drag yourself out of a warm bed in the mornings for a hundred quid..when you could have a nice easy life 188 handed to you every week and rent allowance along with a raft of other benefits that a working fool could only dream of..so the only solution I can see is to increase the minimum wage to 12 euro an hour to have any standard of living..to have any incentive to get out of bed in the morning..oh and decrease the the income taxes too..the whole thing stinks..
Hes a great ball carrier and has serious aggression but it can lead to moments of madness like what he did to louis picamoles yesterday..diving in head first 5 metres out from the game line..he made contact with with picamoles temple at full force..it was a sin bin offence and a red card..how the ref didn't spot it is beyond me..but fair play to him his aggression is a great attribute
you're better off sticking to 1..it gets messy when you have a few on the go at the same time..its tiring physically and mentally because eventually you will have to pick 1
