Any feeling that you have is yours. All attempts to point anger at others is a projection of inner turmoil, usually ego's frustration with getting things it's own way. That anger only hurts the self and becomes dis-ease and or illness and pain. It's self destructive and that's just not good for you.
"Heaven is not a place nor a condition. 6It is merely an awareness of perfect Oneness, and the knowledge that there is nothing else; nothing outside this Oneness, and nothing else within."
The mind is eternally powerful. Distance is a thing because you think it is. There is no time either. All that you think you recall has no real time. In your mind they are but snippets of awareness which you attach meaning to. Movies presented by consciousness. The time and space that you attribute to them means nothing in reality and is used by you, or more aptly used by your ego in order to have a 'memory' that you can use to feel good or bad or to be happy or angry with others. or your situation, as well as to make another's presence feel 'further away', and so we call it distance. The mind is quite powerful.
This is from the Roman Bible, Ray. Check your history.
And still it speaks of the places in the mind that are in disarray led by the ego, where only the ego judges. Only the ego battles. Only the ego can die. Only the ego attempts to create fearful places replete with suspicion, deeds and punishment. The ego can and will die for those that awaken.
You are the son/daughter of God and as God you are eternal. Eternal cannot die. It is insane to believe otherwise because it is impossible simply by understanding the definition of eternal and infinity. Bless you.
Translation: Jesus- "When you are tempted by the wrong voice, call on me to remind you how to heal by sharing my decision and making it stronger. As we share this goal, we increase its power to attract the whole Sonship, and to bring it back into the oneness in which it was created. Remember that “yoke” means “join together,” and “burden” means “message.” 4Let us restate “My yoke is easy and my burden light” in this way; “Let us join together, for my message is light.”
Thanks, that is a perfect insertion in this conversation.
This also has parallels with The Law of One, for seekers, wishing to raise their vibration in order to progress into the next density through their next incarnation. When you understand oneness and its wholeness and entirety, it supersedes all wrong mindedness.
What does this say to you Ray? I can tell you what it says to me. It says that your way home is through HS (Holy Spirit aka Higher Self) to God. All you need do is to ask. You want to do this in meditation preferably and you want to be sure that you are not 'hearing' ego yammering back at you. Holy Spirit's answer is soft and lacks any notion of ego tendencies.
And for your reading pleasure - ACIM~ "You are at home in God, dreaming of exile but perfectly capable of awakening to reality. Is it your decision to do so? You recognize from your own experience that what you see in dreams you think is real while you are asleep. Yet the instant you waken you realize that everything that seemed to happen in the dream did not happen at all. You do not think this strange, even though all the laws of what you awaken to were violated while you slept. Is it not possible that you merely shifted from one dream to another, without really waking?"
Thinking and worse, believing, is where the fear lies. Fear constructs many many weird illusions in the mind.
There is no devil, Ray. There are however, beliefs, thoughts, actions that take you away from being in touch with God/love. Again this black versus white thing was created by the Romans in their quest for power.
For instance, the seven deadly sins are not sins at all, but enumerated ways that can keep you from staying in contact with HS (Holy Spirit aka Higher Self). They take you off track from being who you are, - love. This happens primarily because they (the seven deadlies) are things that appease the ego's need to have/identify/own and control things through the body. Any time that you defer to ego, you are stepping away from God, joy, love, happiness.
I am familiar with the King James version, brother.
The King James version is old testament, penned and heavily edited for the purpose of power by the Romans at Nicea around 365 AD, as I recall, in order to create a fearful god and to control their empire. You may check history for these facts if you will. The Romans were assisted in this by a man named Josephus, a Jew turned Roman for financial gain and status to edit the truth for the Romans preference for power over the Jews. (and others)
The words themselves in the King james version are metaphors (references to cities, towns etc) for the mind because there is nothing beyond the mind. Nothing exists outside of the mind and that includes any devil as well as God. All things are of the mind and only the mind.
This thing that we call life is a dream and as such is not real. Only the spirit/soul/God is real. Anything that tries to create a devil, sin, illness is an illusion made by ego in an attempt to keep you separated from God and what you really are, - love. We are not the body, nor are we illness. The ego is all about war, and fear in your mind. Whether you listen and pay attention to it, or not is your free will.
We are one mnd, presently in an illusion where ego does insane things in your mind to convince you of your lack of power and your lack of love and to then project that weakness and anger outward to others. The devil and any 'idea' that separates you from your brothers is simply a metaphor for "wrong mindedness" brought forth by ego. Bless you.
You recognize from your own experience that what you see in dreams you think is real while you are asleep. 4Yet the instant you waken you realize that everything that seemed to happen in the dream did not happen at all. 5You do not think this strange, even though all the laws of what you awaken to were violated while you slept. 6Is it not possible that you merely shifted from one dream to another, without really waking?
We said before that the ego vacillates between suspiciousness and viciousness. 8It remains suspicious as long as you despair of yourself. ?It shifts to viciousness when you decide not to tolerate self-abasement and seek relief. ¹°Then it offers you the illusion of attack as a “solution.” Ego works against your happiness.
"Eventually everyone begins to recognize, however dimly, that there _must_ be a better way."
ACIM
Whether one embraces this 'better' way or not is a choice of free will. To deny this free will and to blame others or project your own displeasure of others is sheer insanity that employs denial of personal responsibility and prefers victimhood and lack.
