It's quite dark here this time of the year,only couple of hours of daylight. A friend of mine brought a Spanish friend to Northern Sweden/Finland during Christmas many years ago; this Spanish young man just wanted to go back to south because of the darkness. I don't think about it, it's just the way it's.
I've seen some Black Friday advertisements both in Sweden and Finland. I guess it has been gradually introduced and it'll stay like they introduced Halloween once. Hopefully we won't get Thanksgiving here too!
I lived and worked in Canada when I was younger. I'm quite happy in my own country, but I can think of a neighbour country. I don't think I'd choose USA to live in, I like Canada a lot better!
Unfortunately I can't communicate with my mother; she is suffering dementia and aphasia. I'll have to drive 2 hours to get to her, but I try to visit her every second week. She hasn't much time left.
My mother is at a (good) nursing home and as long as she lives, I try to visit her as often as I can. I think she gets a better care (with skilled staff) there, than I'd be able to provide.
I can understand the question, but what do you think you’ll gain with the question? Do you think all “Not single/not looking” people will delete their profiles now? Whatever reason people have for staying here, it’s certainly none of your business or mine! You could always report people if they don’t follow the rules set by CS.
You seem to be a frustrated man, screaming out your frustration on other CS members, because you can’t find a match here. Perhaps you’re not ready for a new relationship?

Many people have had enough of the scammers and don’t bother to look anymore; they change to “Not single/Not looking” and stay just to interact with other people. They find other ways to look for a partner instead.
