Yes, he's not looking for a woman outside Canada (according to his profile) on an international dating site. CS has given him the option to choose "Canada only" like other choose "not single/not looking"!
A two year old thread and you're still here? Your attitude has a "turn off" effect on women. Just a friendly advice. People are here for various reason; it's up to CS to decide who can stay or not. If it's not ok with you, you're free to leave. Nobody is forcing you to stay here!!
Since you have set the requirement "Canada only", I think you'll have better luck searching for your "dream lady" on a domestic or local dating site. This is just an INTERNATIONAL dating site with a bunch of foreigners like me.
My best advice would be to get out in the REAL LIFE and search for your dream lady. Good luck!
The same happened to me in Russia. I questioned why, and they replied "all Scandinavians" drink too much and loose their passports while they're drinking!
I've been here long enough and I know there are many genuine people on CS. I'm sure it's a lot easier if you put your energy to search for someone on a local dating site instead. Most people on CS are a bit older, at least on the forum, and most people (including me)don't move to another country, when they're 40+ or 50+. What are your expectation here? To find a woman, who are ready to move to you?
You're more likely on the same wave length, if you're close in age.
Cultural differencies could be as bad as a huge age difference - something worth thinking about, when searching for a partner on an international dating site!
