Along this line of thought... What is the currently favored theory? Expanding? Contracting? Both? Static? (are there others?)? I'm a bit behind on my Cosmology, and really far behind in The Philosophy of Science... so I should probably stay out of this thread, I just wanted to know... If someone already posted a link that discusses it, point it out for me, I havnt had a chance to look at all of them.
I don't know about myself, however I do have firsthand knowledge of a certain CS cutie whose abbreviated screenname begins with "K" and ends with "B", and yes, she looks very much like her pic. However, one cannot experience just how adorable she is nor can you really see how young she looks until she looks you in the eye.
Perhaps part of it is the ability to think outside the box. Right or wrong, science posseses falsifiability at it very core, are we to toss aside ideologies which do not posses the preferred quantity of steadfast empirical absolutes?

I find it interesting that those who think they don't have very good English skills are also the ones who never use sentence fragments nor do they commit vocabulary/punctuation/spelling errors...
Heck, some of all y'all could teach English to people whose first language is English.
After all, the most attractive women (like the one I'm with.) are the ones whose attention is difficult to initially obtain. It's not necessarily because they have "attitude" or an inflated opinion of themselves, but rather, they are so happy with the way their life is going that they don't seek out, nor do they appreciate shallow, short lived, ill-timed, empty, & un-original attention from some kinds of men.
At the risk of insulting my own gender, I'll just leave you with this... We men have minds that can become lazy, some men fight it, and others,,,,,, well, they don't.

I've been wondering how to post in this thread, and while I think some people are selfish,,, there is nothing wrong with an individual that is strong enough to love their own life...
Part of the "loving your life" equation is to be an active and positive presence in other peoples lives... and that isn't selfish, its an efficient path to happiness, and that happiness that will almost invariably attract your biggest fan.
