I have scholastic awards for, of all things, drawing. Back in the day, I was even commissioned by friends to do some for them (giant wedding cards, etc.). I had a teacher that was mad at me for not pursuing. I have not drawn anything but a breath in nearly 20 years.
Some exercise. I've got a bit too much time on my hands during the holiday break, and have become near-sedentary with all the football on the tube. I've got some errands to run today - will do them all on foot. I suspect it'll be around 10 miles. It's a nice day. It's all good.
Many, many moons ago, I was asked out by someone in my apartment complex, a lovely woman which I was much too shy to ask. I was flattered. We ended up in a relationship for some three years.
Funny thing is, a week prior to her asking me out, she asked if I could help her move some furniture. I was outside working on my car. Ever the Good Samaritan, of course, I helped. When done, she asked if I wanted a beer - to which I replied "no thanks, I have one out by the car." I was not very good at reading intentions back then.
RE: If you don't like someone?
Nice to see you around. Happy New Year.Me? I just go hide in the garage. Works every time...
