For the record, I agree with a friend of mine that the whole daughter angle is a bad one, and should rightfully be off limits, despite the fact that if the situation were reversed, I doubt the GOP would be quiet about it.
That, and I suspect this thread could get a bit chippy.
I doubt we'd be electric in one or even two terms - given the current level of technology. Even I, he who worships internal combustion, acknowledges that we'll eventually have to do something.
I have never thought of him as evil, just patently misguided. I wish he'd do something else - run a baseball team or something.
You say you don't support him, but you always seem to defend him. I have difficulty fathoming that we would have been worse off...but if you insist....
I have been following the situation as much as I can - thankfully, it appears to be much better managed this time around (disasters have a way of teaching I suppose). It is my hope that all will be okay...
