I try not to get too personal with the car, although I love it. The last one barely made 1200 miles before I was ready to move on.

I love my siblings - just frustration. My father was widowed last year and could use some of our time. That's hard when you are 2500 miles away.

The agency booked a car for my little road trip to AZ tomorrow.

Now, as a professional and personal Car Geek, we always want to experience different cars - rentals are an excellent opportunity for this. I always ask for something I have never driven before. They are always polite at the Hertz counter, since I'm like a Gold member or something like that.

I ended up with something I have never driven before - the prototypical Anti-Car-Guy Car. I can't even say what it is...

It should be an interesting trip, though.
