I see your point Don. I voiced my position elsewhere on this issue - mainly a fence-sitter or even indifferent. I used to enjoy shooting, and was fairly good at it (a LIB that can shoot! Go figure!).
I saw the news on the big rush on guns. Obama's position is clear - he has stated that he respects the right to bear arms and has no intention of trying to disarm anyone. He supports control within reason, as it is now. Well, perhaps, except for assault rifles. So maybe buy lots of those...
